I’m with an organization that attends military funerals where the deceased has no family or friends to attend their funeral. Most of them are WWII and Vietnam veterans. We attend their funerals in all sorts of weather. Mostly we ride motorcycles, but when the weather is cold or rainy, we drive cars or trucks. I wanted a way to display a flag on my truck when we have cold weather and are conducting an escort of the hearse to the cemetery. Along came this hitch flag holder. Now all I need to do is get a flag pole and flag capable of withstanding highway speeds and I’m good to go. The construction is really nice and the angle will allow the flag to drape behind the truck instead of against it. The powder coating is nicely done, but the welds are a little sloppy. It’s nothing that should detract from its effectiveness to carry the flag. It fits my 2” receiver perfectly. I highly recommend it to anyone who wants to have a flag on their truck or SUV (with a trailer hitch) for any reason.

This was great this past Memorial Day the first time I was using it. It locked in very easy, simple screw held my flag and flag and place. I was driving on the freeway, and I guess the angle of it kind of allows the flag to fly through the air without bending the pole, I noticed when I’d rigged before I got this trailer hitch flag holder was that anytime I put it on a pole you know hook to my roof rack or anything like that that the wind would just been any pole I put up there you know when you get up to 35 miles an hour and over That the great quality will be holding for years.
