I had thought, already owning their P-spot stimulator which is solid steel, that this was steel too. And I get it. Steel is heavy, this is incredibly light for its size. It is hollow as well, again to reduce weight I think. You pay for weight. I tried twisting it apart gently and could not. I’m sure it’s been tested but you wouldn’t want that happening during use. This toy is an excellent change of pace from the normal silicone attachments! The metal is cool and smooth, giving a very different sensation. And the design gives a lot of stimulation even with a small amount of movement, but because it's made of metal it glides much easier even with minimal lube. Just like all other Hismith toys, this one is high quality and feels premium. It's perfectly polished with 0 imperfections, and feels solidly connected to the machine. Because it has no give you may want to buy the spring attachment to make it easier to use at different angles. I would definitely recommend this to someone looking to expand their collection and try something new and different from what they already own. If you haven't tried a beaded toy it's great to use even manually! Overall another 10/10 attachment from hi smith! We'll be using this one often. ... show more

This is for the larger size but undoubtedly applies to both. It’s a great toy, with one caveat - it’s polished aluminum, not stainless steel, and it’s not anodized. Well-polished aluminum like this doesn’t oxidize so it stays shiny and super smooth. Unfortunately, aluminum is soft. Use anything abrasive on it and it’s no longer shiny. Dishwasher is great for cleaning most metal, glass, ABS, and silicone toys. Do not stick this in with them. The detergent will ruin the finish. This allows oxidation. Ours now has a frosted appearance. It’s still very smooth, but not as smooth as it was. It still works fine and it won’t get any worse, it’s just not as pretty as it was. ... show more
