The automatic low-latency mode (ALLM), 144Hz variable refresh rate (VRR) and FreesSync Premium Pro minimize input lag, screen jitter, and frame tearing
  • HANDS FREE VOICE CONTROL: Put down the remote. Change the channel, find the latest movie, stream your favorite video and more with your voice. The quicker, easier way to find whatever you want to watch
  • FILMMAKER MODE: By disabling all post-processing (e.g. motion smoothing) and preserving the correct aspect ratios, colors and frame rates, Filmmaker Mode enables your TV to display the movie or television shows content precisely as it was intended by the filmmaker

  • The Good and The Bad
Size: 65-Inch
I'll begin with the bad news. I ordered this TV on January 24th, hoping to get it by the Superbowl. The first estimated delivery date gave indication that it would. When I saw it wasn't going to make it I tried 5 different times to cancel the order but the app refused to let me cancel. When I was finally able to call I checked first and the price had already increased at every other store (by $120). I was stuck waiting for this delivery. After 2 calls to customer service it finally arrived yesterday March 11. After this experience I will never purchase a TV from Amazon again. And don't get me wrong, I buy lots of stuff from them, just got a delivery today but this was unacceptable. The TV works but the big dent in the box on the screen side gave me a lot of anxiety. Which brings me to the good news, this TV is phenomenal. Now, you need to understand that I replaced a nonsmart Vizio 42 inch 1080p HD television with this very smart 65 inch 4k beast. The Google interface is easy to work, the picture quality is spectacular and the sound is tremendous. I never expected that I would end up buying a Hisense television but after a lot of research I feel that I made the best choice possible. I've heard a lot of comments about this unit being great value for the price. In my opinion, you can't buy a better TV, you can certainly spend more money and get more expensive, fancier technology but I doubt you will notice any difference unless you are very discerning in this area. Now if you want to spend twice as much or more, please, go ahead. But if you want a TV that will impress you, and your friends and family this is all you need. ... show more

  • A Lot Of TV For The Money
Size: 65-Inch
For me, this TV was brought in a special Amazon delivery truck with two people in it. It was brought inside to the location of my choice. The bad news is the remote and the way they tried to get out of adding buttons. It's like a maze. I've gotten totally lost twice. All I wanted to do is watch my current favorite show. I think I've discovered that the "TV" is actually an app and it's in there with the inputs. It's like that throughout. It's almost like you have to print out the whole online manual and take it with you so you can refer to it when you want to watch TV. I HATE that it doesn't have a number keypad. You have to enter a channel number like on a Roku - going left and right to the number you want to enter and hitting OK. As far as I can tell, in the owner's manual, there isn't one picture of the remote. So, they give you an image of a key to hit that isn't even on the remote. Just... WHY?!?!? And even more puzzling: the remote is curved on the back. Most remotes aren't totally flat, but there's a section that's flat. This one is curved entirely and you HAVE to hold it with one finger so it doesn't roll OR you have to actually pick it up if you want to use it instead of just hitting a button on it wherever it's laying. Again... JUST WHY?!? I'd gladly pay even $50 more for a more usable remote. Worse than that, Hisense has so many models and so many different remotes, I don't dare buy one without trying it. I spent an hour or two looking through remotes. Fail. You need one that's infrared AND Bluetooth AND has a mic for voice control capability. So I called the tech support. The nice lady there was, as far as I could tell, clueless. It took a good 10 minutes of me trying to explain over and over that I wanted to know if a remote from one Hisense model would work on other Hisense models. After another half hour or so, ended up getting a link for an internet store that sells TV accessories. I HATE stuff that can't be solved. I'll probably have to go to Best Buy or something next time I'm out and pray there's someone there that really knows the Hisense models. Other than that, the TV is GREAT! There are suddenly two channels for the main channel. For example, there are two 10.1 channels and two channel 3.1 channels, etc. I'm assuming one of them is ATSC 3.0 (Next Gen) and one of them is ATSC 2. They show the same thing and they have different resolutions; one is mono and one is stereo. The BIG, BIG reason I bought this one is that it has an ATSC 3.0 tuner. I gritted my teeth and didn't knock it down a star for the remote because it's a really, REALLY good deal otherwise. The picture is REALLY good! The sound is very good - REALLY good for a flat panel TV. It has those four HDMI ports and two USB ports (one USB 3). I don't care about a lot of the other "features"; I didn't get a good antenna setup so I could pay some capitalistic greedy morons $30, $50, $100 a month or whatever, so I didn't even care that much, but you can watch a ton of stuff if you don't mind paying. All in all, not regrettable at all! One last thing: It was between this 65 inch U7 and a 55 inch U8. After some deliberation I got a 65 inch U7 instead of a 55 inch U8. As far as I could tell is that the maximum brightness on the U8 is 1500 and this one's only 1000. I couldn't really find any other differences. Trust me: It's bright enough!! If you're thinking like me, don't bother with a U8!! ... show more

I waited a couple months before reviewing. Overall it's a great tv for the price. Excellent picture and very Brite. Plenty of hdmi ports. Only complaint I have is the responsiveness of the Google tv and menu can lag a bit sometimes which can be frustrating when I'm in an impatient mood but not a deal breaker. Happy with my purchase overall. I looked through alot of tv and was a bit leary of having one shipped because I didn't want to have to send back if damaged but I decided on a Sony first and sure enough it arrived with a busted screen. So i figured I would try one more time and went with this hisense and it showed up perfect, packed better than the Sony. Would recommend. ... show more
