Cats both loved the food and it definitely helped with hairballs and keeping UTI’s away. Unfortunately one cat was severely allergic to it and started loosing hair on his haunches. I wish Royal Canin would come back with their multicare line. For now I’ve switched to a Purina pro urinary care that the cats aren’t really fond of and way more litter to clean but my little guys hair is growing back. ... show more

My main source of frustration is that when I first open a can she dives right in and gobbles it up. Of course, I refrigerate the rest and even though I warm it up in the microwave she is picky about it. I messed up and bought from the wrong person. My bad and lesson learned. I am on a tight budget and to get 12 cans for $44 screwed me. I normally get 24 cans for the same price. The food is amazing and my cat loves it. Just wouldn't buy it from this person again.

The price was a bit much but this food did seem to make a difference for my cats. I was mainly worried about urinary issues for one of my boys. He seemed to be straining when he went to urinate and the vet mentioned the possibility of crystals forming and recommended I look into this food. Of course, I wasnt given a perscription for the "perscription diet" formula of this food because the vet wanted to run more testing prior to writing one. Of course, you can't get the "perscription diet" version without a vets authorization. It honestly seemed unnecessary (cash grab) because she had pretty much diagnosed him... so I declined the extremely costly extra testing she wanted to do. I went online and saw this version. I don't know what the difference is between the perscription version versus this one but this has definitely helped him. He is not having the issues he was before (straining to urinate). Plus, it's not as smelly as other soft cat food brands I have used in the past. The cats must like the taste because they gobbled it down. If you want to maintain your cats urinary health, I would recommend this product. It might be pricey but is cost WAY LESS than all the extra testing my vet wanted to do in order for me to get the "perscription" version. ... show more

This is my very first order of this can cat food. There was absolutely nothing wrong with the box, so the can was dented before packaging. I have no idea if my cat even likes the food, as I just unboxed it. THIS is my first impression. It is definitely not worth the money when all cans cannot be used. UPDATE: I contacted Hills, and they were very helpful. The cab is being replaced, and they are sending coupons for a future purchase. I changed my 1-star rating to 5 stars. ... show more

I thought that my cats would like due to the reviews an so many reviews say vets recommend. I’ve opened 4 cans an tried to give to my cats an they just won’t eat the wet cat food. They smell it an have tried to eat but will leave the entire bowl full an never eat til I have no choice to through it out.
