I ordered this as a companion to Science Diet Oral Care, Canadae, Merrick concoction I was mixing together, since each dog preferred one brand. Then, all of a sudden all three dogs and both cats have decided this is their choice and were picking out these kibbles. Not sure what is in it, but I guess I can now switch to one kibble for all. Hills must have changed something in the formula, since I've been using for at least five years and they just now started snubbing all others. I decided to put it in a separate bowl and its the only thing touched. I have never in my life seen cats gobble down dog kibble, but they are now leaving their bowls full and run to the dog food? And the oldest (17 year old) is super finicky. The poor dogs have to wait patiently for the large male Mainecoon to finish first, since he outweighs them all by about 20%. And guess what?     • Stopped my dog scratching, and he loves the taste

My dog was suffering from allergies that had him constantly scratching, so the point of leaving bald patches on his legs. I started him on this kibble and supplemented it with some Pethonesty allergy bites and between the two remedies in a couple of weeks he has stopped scratching and his fur is mostly grown back. My vet had suggested putting him on steroids but I wasn't happy with the long term effects on his health. So happy to find an alternative. ... show more

I have been feeding my dog this product for almost 2 months and I'm seeing results. He has had an ongoing problem in recent years with itchy skin and hair loss. I have noticed in the past couple of weeks his fur growing back and the itchiness reduced.

    • Great replacement for Royal Canin Digestive Care

My dog has a super sensitive tummy, and the vet years ago recommended Royal Canin Large Breed Digestive Care, which worked great, but Royal Canin paused making it (possibly forever). I first tried the Royal Canin Large Adult Dog but my dog threw up after almost every meal. So for awhile my dog has had to eat only the canned Royal Canin Digestive Care, until I found this WONDERFUL food! I chose it because its ingredients etc very similar to the now discontinued/paused Royal Canin Digestive Care. My dog hasn’t been sick once since starting this kibble. Hurray! -So now my dog gets one can Royal Canin Digestive care with one scoop of this digestive care Hill’s Science Diet, and for dinner he gets another two scoops of this digestive care Hill’s Science Diet. I would prefer not to feed chicken to my Great Pyrenees but this is helping her sensitive stomach. She doesn’t love it and consumes less than the recommended amount. Our 3/4 red heeler 1/4 pitbull had stomach issues for about 2 years where he would throw up yellow liquid about every 5-6 weeks. We tried every dog food possible, our vet even put him on the cat fur ball syrup. There was nothing that would help him until a friend who had a boxer suggested the science diet sensitive skin and stomach. This product was a game changer for us. He has now been on it for well over a year and he has put on weight and quit throwing up. I love that I can get it shipped straight to my door for the same price as it would cost me in the store and I don't have to drive 35 minutes away to buy it. I buy this food for my daughter. Scientists say it's good so I trust it. She's not extremely happy with it, like she is wet food but I do add some water and that does help out a little bit. Flavor, I have no idea I haven't tried it. I'm vegan. Freshness, it's got a reclosable bag which is super cool. Value for money, a bit pricey but I'm hoping what the scientists and vets say about the food are helping my dog. ... show more
