I got this kibble after my dog’s stint in the animal hospital where they had him in the prescription diet. This is our second dog to use Hills Science Diet Food. She tried two other brands recommended by the breeder when we just got her as a puppy and she didn't like either. We switched to the Salmon flavor of Hills and she immediately took to it. No digestion or bowel problems. It is now her main source of food. Our last dog ate it for 15 years. I have tried so many expensive, natural dog foods for my picky French Bulldog. He would always get sick of them really fast and wouldn’t eat unless he was super hungry. He was also shedding a bunch, and had gas all the time. Ever since I switched to hills he has been so much better! Less shedding, always eats, less gassy. I usually Buy him the small bites in the sensitive skin and stomach, but I tried this salmon one out, and I’m going to be switching between them both now so he gets different proteins! After trying many different high quality dog food brands, this is the winner! My German Shepherd was constantly having issues with her bowel movements. I have a 10 yr. old doxie who has been struggling with food allergies all of a sudden. I tried a bunch of different foods and creams etc. I thought only feeding him Purina One would do the trick, buy he still had problems with itchy skin, pawing at his mouth and non stop hair loss. I finally decided to bit the bullet and tey Hills out of desparation. I wish i wouldve tried it sooner, because after only 7 days of feeding this to my baby, hes alomst 100 percent better, the hair loss has stopped and the itchy skin is much less. My boston terrier (5 years old) had the craziest bubble guts for months. We tried a few different food brands and nothing helped but this one did it! Her stool was always inconsistent, some days diarrhea for no reason, some days firm, other days constipated. We could literally hear her insides gurgling and growling all day. Once we switched her to this food with the addition of NaturVet probiotics&enzymes her stool went back to normal and the bubble guts stopped!
