This food is for our 10 year old Maine Coon who has GI issues. He loves the food, it helps me keep his previous owners scheduled for his soft food, he doesn't get explosive poops with it and they don't smell so bad your face would melt off. So I count it a win! I only wish cane in the full size and not the teeny weeny cans. Is very expensive so I use a teaspoon and mix it with some dry food so he thinks he's getting more but it lasts longer, so am able to buy less. ... show more

This food was prescribed by my Vet for my cat with digestive issues. She didn't like it at first. I started out mixing it with her previous dry food and she would pick out the ID dry food and drop it on the floor. This is prescription only. The doctor stated that he didn’t know why because it couldn’t hurt anyone. All my cats like it and if a kitty has a sick tummy you’re very happy to have it. Some cats simply have a tender stomach and it help , even without a diagnosis of stomach disorders. It tastes good and helps immensely. My cat loves this food but more importantly his stomach loves it. It has helped get rid of his digestive issues and I also buy him the same brand wet canned version of it. You need a prescription from your vet to get it but it has been worth the effort. I only wish that it was not so expensive!!
