This brand is pricey as hell but my fur baby deserves nothing less. I also use their Dental Care/Oral Health line. My Morkie is 11 and the last few years I’ve noticed he has began struggling a bit with his #2’s. He has to squat for quite some time and moves around (still in his squat) to a different spot at least 2-3 times per dump. His poop goes from formed milk duds to dribbles of (very watery) soft serve. He drinks plenty of water, doesn’t get table scraps and gets lots of exercise. I thought he had a stomach bug because his breath is stanky too. I have tried probiotic powders, rice, the whole diarrhea gamut. I slowly incorporated this food with his regular Blue Buffalo and his poops are more Tootsie Rolls and Milk Duds again without as much straining. Now I give 50/50 of this with his regular Blue Buffalo. It is obviously yummy because the other 2 pups stare at me until I add a few kibbles to their food too. After getting his teeth cleaned and switching to this food his breath has started stinking less. He’s a guilty willy licker (I mean what human man wouldn’t do it himself if he could too?) so some of the smell came back but nowhere near as putrid. Happy dog mom here. This food is pricey, but if you have a dog with a sensitive GI tract, it'll change your life. Literally within 24 hours, my dog's diarrhea/soft stool cleared up and we've had no issues since. I can't speak for other owners, but my dog seems to really like the flavor and eats it voraciously. A word to the wise, double-check the feeding instructions/serving recommendations on the back. They call for feeding almost double the amount I was feeding my dog using another food (4 cups/day vs. 2 cups/day for a 65-70 lb dog). It's hard to get my dog to try new food. So 5 stars because she actually eats it. I think it helps her stomach too. But not sure because she's also taking Immuquin supplement.

The media could not be loaded. My puppy has poop issues, diarrhea or soft mushy pudding consistency poop since I got him around a month ago, he is currently 3 months old. I tried the breeder recommended food (Inushunk), Wellness, Blue Buffalo nothing works. He didn’t like the taste of other food. I even put him on can pure pumpkin, fortifora powder, and proviable-dc powder, vet prescribed medication, advanced anti diarrhea med , chicken and rice, nothing works!! The vet checked his poop three times and found nothing. Then the vet suggested this food. At first I was skeptical thinking why would an expensive food suddenly work and harden his poop when I tried so many things. I still went and brought a small bag from PetSmart thinking worst case if this doesn’t work I’ll just lose $55. I’ll feed it to my older Yorkie, he has a stomach of steal nothing could phase him. To my surprise it worked. The bag said give it 24 hours and within 12 hours his poop was formed and within 24 hours his poop was formed and hard enough for me to pick up with out it turning to mush now it is still on the softer end but hard enough to be normal. That is why I am buying a large bag in Amazon. I think it must taste good my pup and older dog loves it. My puppy also have a poor food drive, our trainer is helping me fix this issue and I had to hand feed him his food before so afraid he doesn’t have enough nutrients to grow. With this food you can tell by the photos I don’t need to do anything and he eats it right up. It has a strong meaty smell. The kibbles are a bit larger than other brands. My 7 yr old yorkie had no problem chewing it, even though it is not meant for him. My pup’s finally looking fatter and the coat is better looking less dull than before. And best part is no more taking him out to poop every half an hour and washing my back yard after he poops a trail of diarrhea. Now only 2 times per day! Like all other customers say it is a vet prescribed food, kind of inconvenient to have to buy it in advance before your bag runs out because it takes time for the vet to approve. It is way over the top expensive compared to other brands and here I thought blue buffalo was expensive. But I did notice that with other brands it states that you give them 3 to 4 cups daily and with this brand it is only 1.5 cups daily for his size and weight. So in a way it is kinda the same price since they eat less of this. I still gave him a bit more than what hr should be eating since he is a puppy. I even use it as a training treats, the size of the kibble works well. I am thinking of switching my older pup on this too since he likes it so much, he kept asking me for some when I feed the pup. Overall I would recommend for those who tried everything and didn’t want to spend $400 to scope your dog’s stomach. That was going to be the next step if this hadn’t work.
