This is the second small balance bike we've purchased, and they have both been great. We actually got this one for our nieces to play on when they come over, because our son has one and they always fight over it. I got this for an 11-month-old. She loves it. She can sit on it without falling. Although she spends more time pushing it around than sitting on it, it helps her move around. I was afraid that she would fall while sitting on it, but it did not happen. The assembly was not too bad. I only got stuck on the back wheel because the wording was confusing in the directions given. However, it was just for a few minutes. My toddlers 18 mo and 3 yo's love this bike so much. We keep it as an indoor toy and they will ride it around the halls all day long. It was super easy to assemble and is very sturdy. The seat is adjustable in height as well. Its easy to clean and store away. I had gotten this for my niece, of course assembly required but it took me some 8 minutes to assemble, 3 minutes to read the instructions 5 minutes for assembly.
