Amazing product; it does come in 500 different parts (maybe not 500, but a LOT). It took around an hour or so to assemble, but if you follow the directions, it’s possible. The jeep runs at a good speed, and holds up very well “off roading”. My 4 & 5 year old drive it comfortably, and it does seatbelt if you want the extra security. Having a remote control was important so we could help 'train' a new driver. The extras that came along -- headlights and multi-color accent lighting, horn, locking 'doors', real cranking sound on start-up and ability to add our own songs to a micro SD card that plays recorded songs automatically at start-up. These extras were great! The assembly instructions were good -- took about an hour to assemble and we charged overnight, as recommended for the first charge. Only suggestion is to provide better instructions on how to use the microSD card. The card hold MP3 songs which play automatically on starting the engine but the card needs to be installed 'upside' down. Folks not familiar with microSD cards may insert the card with writing 'up' and think its broken. When inserted upside down (writing side down), the card clicks in. The remote control was easy to pair and takes over the driving role easily when needed. We used it to help a beginner driver gain confidence in her first ride. Overall, a great car! ... show more

Got this for my son's bday, he isn't familiar with our motorcycles yet and we wanted to get him outside and moving with us! MOST IMPORTANT TO NOTE HERE: The remote control it comes with for parental control is the most valuable aspect for us here. Kiddo can still turn the wheel and cannot take over control if you have yours and you can make it stop if they go to far or towards moving cars or the road. Battery life seems good, size is bigger than I expected, as this is for my 8 almost 9 year old who is tall for his age. You can even take out the plastic seat to give kiddo more leg room and it doesn't look odd at all. Fun for kids, amazing gift, easy to use, definitely worth it. ... show more

This is a great product. It’s fast and the 4wd is strong. Battery lasts over three miles of driving. Clips on the hood don’t stay clipped though which kind of annoys my daughter.

Great performance and the kids love it, but some frustrating design flaws. My daughter has a blast with this thing, and honestly, performance-wise it’s pretty impressive. It has zero trouble tearing through the grass and powers right up the hills around our property. The headlights are actually cool and bright enough for evening rides, and the seat belts are sturdy and work great.However, there are a few design choices that keep it from being a home run. For starters, the built-in radio/speaker is basically useless—you can't hear a thing unless you're practically on top of it. The front hood clips are also way too weak, so it constantly rattles and pops open while driving. I also really wish it had a proper brake pedal instead of just relying on letting off the gas; an actual brake helps so much with teaching kids and building stopping confidence. A couple of other minor gripes: the speed settings feel more like just "slow and fast" rather than a true range, and it would be awesome if things like the 2WD/4WD selection had a fun physical lever the kids could actually pull. Overall, it's a super fun toy and she loves driving it, but a few tweaks would make a massive difference. The real test of longevity is still to come, but right now, it sits solidly at 3 stars. ... show more

“After using this car for a year, I can confidently say it works perfectly. The quality and performance have really impressed me. It’s surprisingly fast—maybe even a little too fast for a three-year-old—but it handles well and feels safe. My baby absolutely loves it and gets so excited every time we take it out. After spending 2 hours putting this together for my 4 year old daughter and giving it a full 12 hour charge, the run time only lasted 15 minutes! Roll bar already broke off on the top, and the shovel doesn’t stay snapped on the back. Cool jeep with 4 wheel drive but don’t buy unless you want to constantly plug in like an old IPhone that won’t hold a charge! ... show more
