This suitcase is basically the overachiever of carry-ons. It’s sturdy, sleek, and has that clean jet-black look that makes it feel like it should come with a business card and a tight itinerary. The aluminum frame and hard shell give it a solid, no-nonsense feel—like it’s not worried about baggage claim, and honestly, neither should you be. I recently flew international with it, and it handled the whole situation like a pro. Long airport lines, overhead bins, being dragged across terminals—it didn’t flinch once. It just kept rolling like it had somewhere important to be (probably more important than me). It was noted that it weighs 10 lbs without anything in it but I didn’t have any issues reaching the threshold and/or lifting in/out of overhead bin; I didn’t notice any of the extra poundage (or any difference between my other suitcases.) The zipperless design is a quiet win. No fighting with stuck zippers or doing that awkward airport dance where you’re trying to force your bag shut while pretending everything is fine. It just opens and closes smoothly without the drama. The wheels are impressively smooth and quiet. It rolls so easily it almost feels like it’s helping you get to the gate faster out of pure professionalism. Inside, it’s practical and well laid out. Easy to pack, easy to access, and it doesn’t turn into a chaotic black hole the moment you open it. The TSA lock adds a nice bit of peace of mind without being annoying about it. If you are not familiar with Amazon Vine, it is basically Amazon trading free* products for honest reviews. I do my best to make my reviews honest, real and value-oriented as if I had paid for each item I receive. * These items are not totally free as Vine members pay income tax on the items they receive. I only mention this because we Viners do have some skin in the game for each item we order. Why I ordered this item: I travel for work maybe once a month and my old carry-on has been giving me zipper problems. The zipper gets stuck and sometimes pops open when I'm rushing through airports. I saw this had no zippers at all which seemed like a crazy good solution to my problem. Likes: * No zippers means no zipper problems. Instead it has these metal latches that snap shut and a frame that seals the whole thing. I can pack it full and it stays closed tight. * The wheels are super quiet. I rolled this thing through three different airports and you can barely hear it. My old bag sounded like a freight train on those tile floors. * It has a wet section on one side that's completely sealed off from the main compartment. I put my toiletries in there and don't have to worry about leaks. * The aluminum frame is thick and the shell doesn't dent. I've banged this thing around and it shows no damage at all. No likes: * Almost 10 pounds empty. * The handle is a little wonky. It extends fine but when you push it back down it doesn't always lock into place on the first try.
