If you are not familiar with Amazon Vine, it is basically Amazon trading free* products for honest reviews. Why I ordered this item: I travel for work maybe once a month and my old carry-on has been giving me zipper problems. The zipper gets stuck and sometimes pops open when I'm rushing through airports. I saw this had no zippers at all which seemed like a crazy good solution to my problem. Likes: * No zippers means no zipper problems. Instead it has these metal latches that snap shut and a frame that seals the whole thing. I can pack it full and it stays closed tight. * The wheels are super quiet. I rolled this thing through three different airports and you can barely hear it. My old bag sounded like a freight train on those tile floors. * It has a wet section on one side that's completely sealed off from the main compartment. I put my toiletries in there and don't have to worry about leaks. * The aluminum frame is thick and the shell doesn't dent. I've banged this thing around and it shows no damage at all. No likes: * Almost 10 pounds empty. * The handle is a little wonky. It extends fine but when you push it back down it doesn't always lock into place on the first try. Would I pay full price for this product: Yes Final thoughts: This solved my zipper problem completely. It's definitely heavier than soft-sided bags but it won't fall apart on me.

I use this for weekend trips and short work trips. The zipperless frame is very helpful, so no more fighting with stuck zippers or worrying about zipper failure during your trip. It is also a lot more secure because no one can get a pencil and pry it open. This bag also rolls quietly in airports and hotels, plus the TSA lock allows smooth travel through security. There are dividers inside to help keep things organized, but the rigid shell design does not allow me to compress the bag if I have overpacked. Please also keep in mind that this luggage is quite heavy. It weighs about 9 pounds by itself, so if you're on a strict limit, especially if you do international travel, you cannot fit anything else, and you would have to pretty much run this luggage empty. The limit for international economy travel is typically about 15 lbs.
