I was pleasantly surprised by how well this armor piece was. It looks great, feels great, and was put together well. I bought several pieces from this maker for a weekend faire and was getting random compliments the entire time. Something I am not used to getting. Several people kept asking which leather shop I got it from at the faire. When I laughed and said I got it from "The Amazonian people" because one must keep in character, I saw a few jaws drop. One replied that they only ever see trash Halloween costumes on this site and don't consider buying anything from here but would look into this brand. So anyone on the fence I would go for it. Great quality belt! For the price, I honestly expected something flimsy and cheap, but this product surprised me, in a good way! The details in the leather, and on the buckles look great, and the whole thing is very durable. Much stronger leather than I was expecting, but still just pliable enough to be comfortable. I'm wearing it in the small of my waist for fair, and it has plenty of wiggle room to adjust it to fit my hips, or higher. I didn't even have to punch my own holes. I'm 5'4, 200lbs, and it fits me great. It has plenty of hole punches the whole length of the straps, and plenty of loops to put the straps in. Fantastic belt! ... show more

Heavy duty and very well made belt! Yes, it's not real leather, but the thickness of the material and attention to quality construction make up for it! Ended up using a black shirt for the final outfit and it looked amazing!

For being fake leather, this piece looks really nice! You can tell the difference if you put your face right up to it or give it a poke, but from a normal-human-interaction distance, it fits right in with the real leather parts of my costume. Wore this as part of my pirate costume ensemble last weekend. It’s not cheaply made leather but actual quality albeit thinner leather. I have no complaints about this. Had a lot of positive feedback for my simple pirate costume I put together, and I feel this help really make it. Felt secure on my waist with all 3 belts buckled up. The added bonus to this is there are 4 built-in rings on the bottom spread out for hanging things like pouches, sword frogs, gun holsters, etc. Anyway, love this product and the company who makes these! ... show more
