  • Good targets but the knots need to be larger.
These bottle targets are a hollow plastic and have a string fed through them that is tied in a knots to keep it in the bottle. However the knots that come tied are way to small allowing the string to be pulled right out of the bottle and let it fall. This is a easy fix but still with this being an easy fix it shouldn't have to be done at all. Other than that they are easy to use and tied to wire, a pallet, or a custom made target stand like mine made of cheap material. ... show more

  • Fun addition to a range
These bottles were a fun addition to the range are. They held up well and didn't shatter. The target markings make for an added challenge.

  • Lots of fun
Great targets, wasn't expecting these to work so well. They are fairly durable, and don't shatter on impact. They are made of a thick durable plastic that withstands some serious impact. They do develop holes, but they stay relatively small, and don't start to split and lose chunks like most plastics would. The bright colors make them easy to see at a distance, even when it's getting dark. The included rope is long enough to allow you to hang them from branches fairly high up. When you hit one it starts swinging, giving you more challenge as you try to hit a moving target. The best part is the very satisfying plunk sound they make when a projectile hits them. It's design with an open bottom makes them act almost like a percussion instrument giving you enjoyable audible feedback. I've sent plenty of .22 cal pellets thru them at 40+ yards, and they've even stood up to 92grain slugs from my .357 big bore pre charged pneumatic that generates almost 300 FPE without being destroyed. Very fun targets! ... show more

  • Not a Solid 'Bottle" but they Still Worked Well.
I was expecting a solid polymer material, like the type used by other manufacturers that guarantee a thousand rounds use, however, these polymer targets are empty/hollow on the inside. To be fair, Highwild only claim "hundreds of rounds" of use. These polymer bottles will hold up to that and a probably a bit more, depending on the calibre used. The overall design is a good one and they do dance around a lot more when hit than the solid ones do. My experience with the solid targets has been that they barely move and its hard to tell whether or not they were hit. If you put a sticky target on them it defeats the purpose of the target anyway. So, I actually prefer these hollow polymer targets to the other type; the solid polymer target. Plus, I am experimenting a bit with different type of "fill" materials: sand or dirt, water, and so far the best has been stuffing it with a rolled magazine, cut to the right height, then rolled up, stuffed inside the target, and then soaked for at least 24 hours. There are lots of possibilities... ... show more

  • They should last a long time.
These are great targets. They are big enough for beginners to hone their skills on. They are much better than glass bottles. No mess with these ones. I hung the targets on a series of tree branches using the supplied role to create different heights and angles. They seem like they will last through many shooting sessions. ... show more

  • Kids love them!
My kids love these for there air soft. They have been shooting them since we received them and you can hardly tell. The white is getting a few blemishes but holding up. So far no dents or scratches can be seen. Great target set!

  • So much more fun that shooting paper
My indoor range has a sled system that allows me to attach 2 of these at once. They stand up well to multiple hits and after probably 200 rounds through each, they still have a lot of life in them. Being able to buy them in a 6 pack is very nice as the competitors sell either individuals or 3-packs for about the same cost. Will end up buying more of these once I destroy all of this first set. ... show more

  • Shooting these beats paper 24/7
Ad says good for 100's of shots, I agree. These are better than paper targets (which have a place) but reactive targets are so much more fun. IDK how many shots these are good for, but it's a lot. They don't crack, break, just make a tight hole. These were shot with .223 and .22 mag at least 30 times each and (and will) take many more. If you were shooting them with a pellet gun, they'd probably last forever, they're tough. Even my cat approves of these, and he doesn't like anything. ... show more
