The base is well made, has leaf springs to grip the 1x2’s, clearly designed to store and transport easily. Toolless assembly, comes with the clips and stakes, the base is marked for width, 8-24”. These are more stable in practice than they look, especially if you clip a cardboard backer to the wood supports and then tape or staple the paper targets to the cardboard. On uneven ground the stakes work, on rocky ground I just put a couple of rocks on the base to keep it steady. Very good for light-duty, personal use - breaks down and transports great. Unsuited to permanent range use but they are a bargain at <$25 each. Cut an 8’ furring strip in two, clip the cardboard about 12” higher than the wooden supports, a great height; only $1.75 per target frame extra for the wood. Shipping box has silhouette targets printed on both sides to use as targets! UPS slapped a big label partly over one so we are doing ‘hostage drills’. Big Fun.

Like some other reviews, I was surprised at how stable these stands are. I did not use stakes or weights to keep these standing, despite some light breezes. Base easily adjusts to various widths with a wing screw. I am very happy with these stands. With decent shooters, the 1"x2" strips will last for multiple sessions. If they get shot up, they are easily replaced.

I was not expecting much for the price. Just something to hang targets on. I was actually surprised. It's a great value for the money. Solid stands. Light enough to set up and store. No tools required to assemble or disassemble. All you have to add is the 1×2 wood strips which fit nice and snug in the stands. In less than 5 minutes you can be set up and ready to shoot.Everything was as described and arrived on time.

These are practical stands that perform well in windless conditions but are very light and as soon as you put a target on they become sails so they need to be weighed down to resist the slightest wind gust. Other than that they are easily assembled and adjustable to fit widths up to 24”. Once assembled they can be transported in the closed position.

I rated this as a three for one reason and one reason only. For me personally it’s not wide enough. I would have liked for it to give at least a 32 inch opening. This way I would have plenty of room on the inside of the stakes to shoot at longer distances with a pistol. I used iron sights and depending on the distance I put a few rounds in a couple of the stakes. Had they been a little wider I wouldn’t had that problem. Other than that no problem’s what so ever. It’s made well and lite weight, setup is fast and so is take down. It maybe be the perfect fit for you. I hope this helps.
