It was a bit confusing at first to put this garden together. As soon as I placed the order, customer service emailed me with "Updated" instructions to assemble the project. When the package arrived, it also contained assembly instructions which were almost completely opposite from the instructions I received via email. The hardware that came with the package was separated into small bags and labeled with the numbers for each of the steps. However, if you were using the updated instructions that were emailed to you, the numbered packages were completely off. At first I was frustrated but began assembling the garden and quickly learned most of the parts were the same and, ultimately, assembly was not difficult. I did need my husband to help tighten some of the nuts or bolts (whatever they're called). Once the garden was put together, it looked beautiful! Note: I also had my husband drill a few more holes on the bottom for drainage which I think were very much needed. My plants are growing beautifully and I am thrilled with the product. I definitely over-filled the garden with plants but that's my own fault and I will learn for next year. One more thing: when we go on vacation, I am able to move the garden to an area that gets watered with our sprinklers. The wheels have been sturdy and we have had no problem moving the garden, although you would not want to do this on a regular basis because of the weight. ... show more

The bad: Purchased two of these and the first box had one tire that was the wrong fit for the cart's axle so I could not build it. The second one had screws that were two long for the basin portion. Built that one as the screw were still functional. The good: Customer service sent an email hoping my cart was great. I replied that the wheels were not the same and they were apologetic and kindly sent a new wheel. The wheel came from China so it was a week or more before I received it. But it was the right fit. The screws they had already recognized the problem and sent an email that they would mail those to me. I was very happy with their service recovery on both of these issues. Both carts were built by the hubs and it looked like an easy process. Took no time at all. Like another reviewer, I used clear water proof caulking along the inner seams to provide extra water proofing (wait 24hrs for dry time). I cut squares of some fine screen material and put them over the drain holes to keep the soil from leaching out of the holes during watering. Planted herbs in one and some flowers in the other. They are holding up well after a week plus outside in the heat with daily watering of the plants. They are deep enough to keep the soil moist even in this heat wave of 104-108*F temps. They are super easy to move about on the cement (can't say how they do on dirt or gravel but the carts seem sturdy enough to handle that terrain) and not too heavy even with the moist potting soil (I used a whole 1.5 cu feet soil bag plus more to fill up for my herbs and flowers). At this point would purchase again with minor trepidation about what might be wrong in the box but they are a decent value and customer service was on point. ... show more

This raised bed works great for my needs. A few of things to share: The bed was fairly easy to assemble. Hardware was marked in small individual bags for some steps (but not all), so it was VERY confusing. For instance, a step may call for a certain number of bolts, but the bag marked for the step contained far more bolts in the bag than called for. You later discover that those extra bolts are used in a step where there was no individually marked bag. Also, some bolts for the bottom panel were manufactured too long and the nuts did not tighten properly when securing the panel (some did tighten properly). Also, a couple of the bolts’ threads did not seem milled correctly, making it difficult to attach a nut. But, once assemble, it looked great. I applied some silicone along the creases of the bottom panel to prevent water from seeping out of those joints. Doing this also helped to ensure most water drains off through the center drain hole (there are three drain holes). As you can see in my attached photo, I painted the side panels red to match the decor of my patio and garden area. I also added a trellis for my vining passion fruit plant. So far I’ve planted a miniature tomato plant (simply sat the potted plant in the bed and filled soil around it), the passion fruit plant, and some Cajun Belle bell peppers and jalapeno peppers. I’m going to add some more plants that I am growing from seeds (beets and onions to start). All plantings are doing well! As other reviewers have mentioned, the bed is a bit weighty once filled with soil, but that should be expected. This product earned four stars from me because of the few wrong sized bolts, confusing hardware bag labeling, and poor bolt thread milling issues. ... show more
