As a compression sprayer needing a compression area with air to build pressure, if the bottle is filled to the top, there will be LOW to NO pressure and water will not spray.

The POMO outdoor camping shower is easy to carry and large enough to clean thoroughly. **DON'T OVERFILL the bottle, you want to have some air left to compress to build pressure!
- **PLEASE NOTE: 1. Small amounts of water may be present in the bottle due to quality control tests performed during assembly. 2. The BPA-free yellowish lubricant at the threads of POMO is applied to aid in opening and closing. If desired, it can be removed with dish soap and replaced with petroleum jelly.

I have not had a chance to use this much other than testing to make sure it works (which it does), but I can already tell that it will perfectly serve the purpose I bought it for. I wanted something that I could use to wash off my wetsuit and other surf gear prior to getting in my car because I hate getting sand everywhere. This is light, holds a good amount of water, and the water pressure is perfect. You certainly should not expect the water pressure you would get from a normal water hose at a house, but it will definitely wash sand off of things easily. I could see this being a great thing to bring camping to help wash things like dirt and mud off as well. Other reviews have mentioned how the water pressure drops off after a few seconds. While it does naturally drop pressure the longer you spray it, it stays strong enough for simple rinses, and it is really easy to pump up again if needed. If you are expecting this to be a pressure washer that will rinse away years of sludge build-up, you will be disappointed. If you need a portable water canister that can lightly rinse things off without needing a battery, it will work great. I was also pleasantly surprised at how the handle locks into place for carrying. Very handy feature.

Pros: * Lightweight * Simple and Easy to use * Easily replace hose and clamps if damaged or wears out. * Plastic water container seems very robust and rigid. * Clear container so you can monitor water level. Cons: * The water nozzle seemed a bit flimsy, so I went to Lowes and replaced it with a steel and rubber version, a bit heavier but seems would be able to take some abuse. My use case for this product would be for off-grid showers while overlanding, rinsing gear and feet at the beach, and washing the dog. So far, it works great. Time will tell how long the pump will last but so far, everything works as advertised!

We had 11 of us camping and after a hot day of swimming, coated in sunscreen, this shower was wonderful. My family said it really worked great. Even the grand kids could shower themselves. I had a rechargeable shower pump before that went in a bucket but it broke after a year. This had better water pressure and will last. We really put it to the test with 11 showering daily for 5 days. It would work great to wash other things.

I use this to wash my hair with distilled water because the tap water at my apartment is that bad. It works very well. I thought it was broken at first because I couldn't get the nozzle to stop spraying. It turned out that I had the nozzle locked on--if this happens, fiddle with the little silver thing between the nozzle handle and the rest of the nozzle. Since I fixed it by pushing the little silver thing away from the handle and back toward the sprayer, I have had no issues. If you plan to use this to wash your hair and your hair is longer than shoulder-length, I would recommend buying two.

The beach is about an hour from my house and I usually go to a remote public beach so this little guy is great for rinsing off and getting back into the car. There's plenty of capacity to shower off and then rinse off all of your beach gear. A perfect day for me is to drive down to the beach for a few hours, rinse off and change and then head to my favorite shrimp restaurant after washing off. This makes that possible. The rotating head has lots of options from a single stream to a more shower-like multi-steam. I thought about getting an electric device but who needs the extra hassle when this is very easy to pump by hand? Bonus; I live on the Gulf Coast and we occasionally get hurricanes that knock out the power and water and this will come in very handy when that happens. Double bonus; It's also great for sunbathing anywhere and spritzing yourself to stay cool. Love this.

This doesn’t take much effort to pump and has a lot of pressure for the sprayer. I got it to wash my muddy dogs off before they get in the car after hiking in the spring.

I was looking forward to using this product because a friend has it and loves it. Mine was delivered as a used return, it was wet and sandy on the inside of the tank and I had to assemble the handle to get it to work, but I'm not getting much pressure. The product was delivered in just a plastic bag that had an "Amazon Returns" sticker on it. I paid top dollar for this product, not a discounted price for a "used" item. I've asked for return/replacement from the seller.
