Absolutely worth getting if your in the market for one, especially for the price. It's easy to use amd easy to store. I use it to rinse off the sand from the beach and it gives me the right amount of pressure to rinse off the sand from me and my beach items. It is durable and reliable and it has not leaked even when tipped over to its side. Will buy a 2nd one to to use for other purposes.

It works exactly as described! Has pretty good pressure for showering and only needed to be pumped twice while using the whole 1½ gallons. The bottle is thick plastic and the pumper is super durable. The whole thing is durable enough to be toss around and dropped. The ONLY downside is the bottom..not a big enough base to keep it from falling over if you accidentally pull the hose too hard. A plastic base like what they have for propane tanks would be a great add on purchase. There's only 1 thing I would change....a spinner for the sprayer so that the hose doesn't twist up. Other than that it's fantastic. And if the makers of these need an idea for a new style...make a rectangle one so that those ppl in campers can store it easier. It would also make it have a larger base for less chance of knocking it over.

Okay; this camp shower is the one. I bought other camp showers that I had to return, but this one I will keep. The bigger 2.1 gallon ones from different brands like sun ninja were very cheap quality- plastic was thin, too many parts to break, hoses were cheap or too long or too clunky to store, just way too many negatives to list. This camp shower has a sturdy hose, much thicker plastic for the reservoir, and the hose wraps neatly around the container. The 1.5 gallon capacity is perfect, as you really don’t need more than a gallon for a decent shower when camping. There are fewer parts, meaning fewer potential things to break, and it doesn’t leak like the other ones I bought. The pump seems a little more robust, and the threading to the reservoir seems much more sturdy. The nozzle is a cheap POS, but I planned to replace with a metal sturdy garden nozzle that I bought for the other showers anyway. Also, the pressure from this shower is noticeably stronger than the other showers, maybe because it’s not leaking air from multiple points of failure like other designs have. It’s just the most simple design that works, and the durability seems to be there, time will tell.

Great product to have in the car after a sandy day. It saves water due to the shower head, I love the pressure system to pump the water, pretty ingenious. It leaks if it’s not standing and also the water gun is pretty cheap, looks easily broken, however you can change it, which is great.

I have not had a chance to use this much other than testing to make sure it works (which it does), but I can already tell that it will perfectly serve the purpose I bought it for. I wanted something that I could use to wash off my wetsuit and other surf gear prior to getting in my car because I hate getting sand everywhere. This is light, holds a good amount of water, and the water pressure is perfect. You certainly should not expect the water pressure you would get from a normal water hose at a house, but it will definitely wash sand off of things easily. I could see this being a great thing to bring camping to help wash things like dirt and mud off as well. Other reviews have mentioned how the water pressure drops off after a few seconds. While it does naturally drop pressure the longer you spray it, it stays strong enough for simple rinses, and it is really easy to pump up again if needed. If you are expecting this to be a pressure washer that will rinse away years of sludge build-up, you will be disappointed. If you need a portable water canister that can lightly rinse things off without needing a battery, it will work great. I was also pleasantly surprised at how the handle locks into place for carrying. Very handy feature.

Really great concept and great for car camping. This was great when it was new. However, it broke was faster and more easily than I expected.. You need to take really good care of it. Not as durable as you'd hope for outdoor equipment. Avoid the obvious mistakes like leaving water in it during storage; metal components will rust. Be careful with the handle - mine cracked and the result is continuous spray. Over time, it has become less able to pressurize and get a good seal. Overall, it's a good product but because it couldn't survive 5+ car camping trips, I'll look for a more durable replacement.

I bought this for my hurricane supply kit after Ian left us without water for weeks. Since our aquifer in Florida is at record low levels due to the mass influx of people overdeveloping the area, my well has run dry and we can’t afford the $12k to drill a deeper one so we’re without running water for who knows how long. This camp shower has been incredible. Much better than trying to rinse with bottles of water.
