Not a professional mechanic and this is strictly for limited home use. Had tools in a tool box and several shelves and cabinets in the garage. This tool chest was perfect for my needs. Got all the hand tools in the drawers with space to spare, and all the cased tools in the base, along with battery charger, etc.. Can't close the lower door with the bigger cases in it but I am ok with that. not as sturdy as higher quality tool chests but saved around $300 as well. Again, perfect for my limited use. If you are a professional mechanic or do a lot of work around the house you may want to spend more for a heavier gauge material. Very happy with the purchase. Really lots of storage space. Wish lower drawers were a little deeper. Had to put longer tools in left to right instead of front to back, but again, will work fine for me. Directions for me were useless but was able to figure things out. Once I figured out how to get tool box out of base assembly was easy. Drawers work fine but I oiled them right away. my unit arrived in good condition, it cost less than 1/2 what a similar sized unit would cost at H Freight, the HF unit may be nicer but this unit is just fine for my use as a homeowner at 1/2 the price.

After I receive this product I opened it up and it was dented then I never received the whole or I only got two bottom box it is cheap it is made in China and basically I would not recommend it to anybody it's very flimsy then if you do buy and you have to return they are a third party Amazon is not responsible for them so beware I just paid $161 to ship it back and I'm not happy about it I suggest you just pass on this product because it's just not worth the money I bought a Husky tool box and a very well made and I got all my tools in it and it was it was cheaper then this junk ... show more

Received as a gift. Opened it up and there was a big dent on back of bottom cabinet. Also thought "where is the top chest"? Turns out, it was inside bottom cabinet. The instructions didn't mention the bolts on bottom of unit to remove to get top chest out.I actually had to look at product questions on Amazon to figure it out. All in all though, it went together easily. A little smaller than I had hoped for. This is by no means a heavy duty item meaning not made for a commercial shop. But to have in your garage, shed, basement it fits the bill. About the damage: Did not affect how it works and seller gave me a refund. I wanted to give a 3.5 rating, but unable ... show more

Delivery day arrived and product was heavily dented. Seller was very proactive and provided a replacement immediately. Seller gets an A+ from this buyer! Due to the dents I would not recommend this set for a heavy duty environment, however it seems more than adequate for typical home usage.

Combination of being cheaply AND professionally made. The drawers are A1 the metal on siding is little thin so don't weigh it down too much. Also stop acting like your going to get a 6ft PRO Shop quality tool box for $200... This tool box is well worth the money. No way your getting a bad deal!!!! I love it!!
