The media could not be loaded. The package does not come with instructions but I was able to put it together by looking up other yarn winders on YouTube. I’ve already made several cakes using this and am happy with the results. Some assembly tips: It’s important that the both metal arms have the end of the swirl facing the same direction, otherwise the yarn will fall out. You attach the small metal arm to the brown rectangle under the cone and the screw is inserted from the bottom. (I think it comes with an extra arm and screws just in case you misplace them) The cone should twist in place into the base. I hope my video is helpful. ... show more

WHAT IS THE SENSE TO SELL AN ITEM LIKE THIS YARN WINDER, AND SEND IT WITHOUT ONE STITCH OF DIRECTIONS ON HOW TO ASSEMBLE IT, AND HOW TO THREAD YOUR YARN TO GET STARTED. ABSOLUTELY NOTHING! This is my 2nd one.. had to replace the first one because I did one of those “put it somewhere you will remember where it is, however you forget where that was lol..😂 I like to rewind my yarn before I use it so I can get all of the knots makes like easier..

I love this Yarn winder. I can take a whole skein of yarn and make 1 cake or ball. Whereas others make several cakes/balls. It also makes it a lot easier to wind bulkier yarns. I would have given it 5 stars but the item comes with assembly required and there are no instructions on how to set up or use. I had to find some you tube videos to help get it set up, but it was really easy to assemble and use. ... show more
