Similarly to some of the other reviews, these curtains, at least in this color, are definitely not full blackout curtains. However, for what I wanted, they are perfect. These work perfectly fine for what I needed. The color is true to what is shown in the picture as well. I gave 4 stars instead of 5; due to I would not consider them true "black out" curtains. They do block the light; however, they do not make the room " totally dark". I have actual black out heavy drapes, floor to ceiling, which do make the room almost pitch black. These are nothing like those drapes; but; to be fair; I did not order them for black out; so they still work great for us. ... show more

Very dark, especially if you have a way to secure them tightly around your windows. Just the right length and width, and easy to throw in your washing machine.
