Just received. Seem good value for the price. Fit as expected, good size toe box. Might have chosen wide if I'd used try before buy, but these aren't uncomfortable. Not planning to hike the Appalachian Trail - just use them for birding and day hikes, and on initial inspection I expect them to last the season. Don't understand the nattering on about not being waterproof. Of course they're not waterproof - they're mesh. We apply a good water-repellent spray to any boot we buy - a spritz every couple of uses = dry feet.

After two weeks of use, I can tell that is a nice pare of shoes. I use them for work, 9-10 hours a day. Shoes are very comfortable, walking in forest and mountains and does not feel tired at all. They are a little bit wide and will see about durability

I wear Asics and New Balance size 10.5 However, this Hi Tec are a little big for that size. Next time I will order 10 instead. However, this shoe is so good that I cannot imagine buying a nother hiking boot.
