Size is kinda wide for a standard foot. Over all good product. Waterproofing works well. They seem durable and comfortable despite the slop for the sizing. Color is nice.

I have had good luck with most models of if Hi-TEC... Over the years. While some reviewers mention that these boots are light hiking boots, I think these might be a little bit more sturdy than some of the hikers I have worn in the past, while still not being clunky in the feet I like them

Bought this boots for my 12 year old son for a trip to Iceland in April. The boots are true to size and very comfortable. They have great support and traction for hiking on rocks and slippery surfaces. He didn't have time to wear them in, but he wore them for a week straight and didn't get a single blister (and there was a lot of walking!). They are waterproof- his feet stayed dried through rain, puddles and getting soaked behind a waterfall. They look great, are lightweight and he said he will keep wearing them even after the trip. 100% recommend and would buy again if needed.

Why did you pick this product vs others?: I have used other products made by this company. Boot quality: This is where this product failed! I received this boot in May and within two months, one of the shoelace retainers pulled loose from the body! Because of this quality control issue, I cannot recommend this boot to other consumers! Comfort: This boot is comfortable for me. Waterproof: I cannot say this boot is waterproof, because in my experience, it is not! Warmth: I live in Texas lol, warmth is not an issue. Value for money: If it were not for the QC issue, It would be a good value for the money. Grip: Boot has good gripping ability.

Boots are very comfortable. I am pleased with the comfort and quality of these boots. They are wider than most work boots. The sole is a foam material with rubber traction tread on the bottom. I can't say they are going to last years and years but for the price they have been holding up pretty well. I'm expecting 1-2 years out of them.
