The rubber of the sole that wraps up the toe was the first thing to come a part. The laces are not extra strong. But I use these for work and they held up the best for hiking boots. And the soles have lasted the best. I will buy these again

My old work shoes that I own double as everyday shoes. Now that they are starting to wear , and I needed a quick fix to my old shoes, and these HI TECs do give me an alternative. Right away I noticed how comfortable the high tops are around the ankle , and they fit as advertised , but once I moved around a little more during the day I'd cramp up a bit as the inner liners are not good. So with new good inner liners it is marginally better... Wish the arch support in the shoes where pushed up a little in the right side , but as back up temp shoes , these will do. (y)
