I had so many issues getting these boots but I finally got them and I love them! First off, I got a size bigger because everyone in the comments recommended to and it’s stated to do so in one of the photos in the ad. I am a true 10 and got an 11 and they were massive. I had to return for a 10 and they fit perfectly. They are very bulky but that’s expected and what I was looking for. Great for those with wide feet. They are very strong, durable boots. The laces are strong and I don’t feel like they will rip when I pull them tight. I’ve been wearing them almost every day, all day long. They are very comfortable. They are warm and the traction is great. The bottoms are very impressive. There is a slight arch support. I haven’t had the chance to go hiking in them yet but I did wear them on the treadmill and they felt very supportive the whole time. I like the style of these very much. I’m in my kitchen all day long and even through spills, they look brand new. Best of all, they are amazingly priced. Great value for the money. Highly recommend. ... show more

Ive had these boots for almost a year (purchased 12/2024) and they are great 👍. Originally I wanted them for walking in the woods in my property and thought they could double in place of snow boots for the winter. But they quickly became my everyday shoe. I was wearing sneakers day to day but these boots were comfortable enough I started opting for them instead. They have decent support and are definitely better than my old Sketchers, no sore feet or toes. The soles are still thick and in good shape to this day. They've also done well on the snow/ice. Unless the snow goes over the ankle and in through the top my feet always stay dry. AND the grip on the ice is VERY helpful. I haven't slipped yet -knock on wood-. I ordered a half size up, from a 7.5 to an 8, because of other reviews and they fit nicely. I usually wear wide set shoes, however that option wasnt available but it isn't a problem they are wide enough. ... show more

I didn't listen when i read the review to buy one size bigger. I had to send them back. Runs small buy the next one up. Shoes are comfortable enough. I'll update after my trip.

Love my old 1980’s hi-tecs, still wearing! but looking for replacement. These are feather lite, plenty toe room, cushy and waterproof sounds good, but back is too high! Might work for you, but not for me

I do not leave product review - this is my first. I needed a pair of hiking boots for a trip to Alaska, but didn't want to spend a ton of money - thank goodness I stumbled across these boots !!! They are comfortable right out of the box. They do not need to be broken in - put them on and go hike. They fit my arch and my foot perfectly. I was glacial kayaking and glacial hiking..... Guess what didn't get wet ?? My feet !!!! I wasn't standing in ankle deep water all day, but I did stand in water to get into and out of the kayak and my feet were bone dry !!!! We hiked several miles up glacial soot and these did not miss a beat. I have nothing but great things to say about a boot out of the box that performs so well on such rugged terrain. I don't think I'll need another pair of boots anytime soon, but rest assured, these will be my go to. ... show more

One of the shoelace loops broke the first time I tried to wear them! Poor quality. Would give 0 stars if I could. I wore Hi-Tecs for many years and loved them, but it looks like the brand has gone down hill.
