I bought this arbor press as "used like new" from Amazon Resale. When I got it I realized that a small part was damaged and one other small part was missing. I called HHIP, the original manufacturer and they were absolutely AWESOME!! They asked for details of what was missing or damaged and told me they had the part that was damaged was In Stock and would ship right away, and they DID! I got it yesterday! On the missing part it wasn't in stock but they ordered it for me AND got me the dimensions so I could fabricate a temp part until they got the oem part to ship for me! Hahaha, bought this little Arbor Press for some hobby and craft work. Seems to be a great little press. I would give it 5 stars but I got to tell you the instruction manual leaves a lot to be desired. This is an Arbor Press, very few moving parts, a handle, a gear, a ram and a body.... That's pretty much it. Page 1 of the instructions depicts the press along with text stating Arbor Press and Assembly and Operating Instructions. Page 2 is a Safety and Warning page with only a partial text. Most of the left text is missing. Page 3, now we get to the funny part. Page 3 starts with item # 9. There are no items 1 - 8 btw. Item # 9, Do Not abuse the power cord. Do not yank it to disconnect it from the receptacle. Do not carry tools by the cord. HELLO, this is an arbor press, there is no electrical cord.. Someone, I'm guessing not in this country has no idea what they are doing or copying... BTW, there are no instructions for how to operate the arbor press in the instruction manual. I purchased this Arbor press to bleed the air out of a new water pump. It worked perfectly. I love how this tool is made. It is hurky! Incredibly well made. I would highly recommend this for anyone who works on engines.

Pretty basic tool but didn't provide the pressing power I expected. I could have used a longer handle, but honestly didn't know if I'd bend the original handle. Will be returning and getting a bigger one.

Every shop, workshop or tool shed should have one of these. So many different uses for it. It's heavy and really comes in handy for setting snaps, leather stamping, cutting with inserts, and host of other uses not related to leather working. Really happy with this purchase

The media could not be loaded. I ordered TWO of these and both had the exact same issue. With only about 20-50 pounds of pressure both skipped and stripped out almost instantly. Very poor quality control. You can clearly see the shaft has different gearing than the ram, which is why it almost instantly doesn’t mesh when applying pressure. Also, the “instructions” are a set of generic power tool and safety tips. Not a single reference to the press or making sure you set it up correctly. This is a garbage tool. A harbor freight press would be a first class upgrade - don’t waste your money and time! ... show more
