This grass has been on my mom's patio for almost a year and still looks great. It has endured all of the elements but we haven't had to clean or replace it. It feels good on your toes and adds to the overall look of the patio.

When I first unrolled it, it had a very strong chemical smell. It was being used in my kids' room, and I wasn't sure how I felt about that. I had opened the windows to air it out as much as possible, but the smell lasted a couple weeks. I had made my little ones a corner play area with a tent and camping set to make it look like they were camping outdoors, and they love it. The grass was the perfect addition to make the space look more realistic. It's not as realistic as I would have liked, but for what I used it for, it worked very well. A bit pricey, but most of what I had found online was in a similar price range. I had ordered another brand for another project, and this was definitely the better of the two (aside from the smell, which the other one did not have). I took one star off because it's a bit more expensive, and for the chemical smell that seemed to go on forever-- it wasn't just a slight odor-- it was pungent. So this mat would probably be better used outdoors. It's pretty good for what it is, and it's a good size. There's some fraying around the edges, but it's not shedding at all yet and the fraying hasn't gotten worse, so that's fine with me. ... show more

I got three 4x6 rolls of artificial turf- Heyroll brand, Weidear brand, and ZGR Home&Garden brand all sold by amazon. I was pretty surprised when all 3 turf rolls came packaged the exact same way in a yellow potato sack kind of material with the exact same care instruction sticker on the outside. Unrolled all 3 are virtually indistinguishable, exact same height, material, fullness, and color. Heyroll is listed for $1 cheaper than the other two and all 3 brands have current coupons for various amounts. Because they are basically the exact same product, the only way I can give them a hierarchy is based on price. Considering the coupons, the order they would be chosen is Heyroll at a total discounted price of $40.04, followed by Weidear at $40.47, and the ZGR brand coming in last place at $41.39. In terms of the product itself, it's a nice green color with a bit of a variety in tones, and appears to have good drainage. The bottom is a rubber like textured material and it seems heavy duty. It did take a few days to fluff up from it coming rolled. Overall, it's great for the price and much cheaper than box stores but just know you are likely getting an alibaba product consisering 3 different brands were the exact same. I combined these with some other turf I had to make a little pay area for my toddler and it's fitting my needs! ... show more
