Size: 13 Color: Wally Moonlit Ocean
Hey Dude shoes are easy to like: lightweight, plenty of color/designs, and priced right in the sweet spot of “not so cheap I question the material and not too expensive for my taste”. I tried on and bought my first pair directly from their site - still my favorites (original Wally/Nut) - but twice now I’ve used Hey Dude’s Amazon store to find sizes/colors not reflected on Hey Dude’s website and the quality is still top-notch and sizing is the same. The Wally Stretch didn’t have the same fit (great on slick surfaces/boat shoes) but this pair of Sox was incredibly comfortable. The “walking on clouds” “feels like air” comments are absolutely validated by my experience thus far. Size: As with past purchases, I got a size 13 (typical running/trail shoe is 12.5; casual sometimes runs to a 13 for comfort) and I zero issues with stability or fit. Go up if you’re a half size is my rec. Fit: This is a lot like wearing a pair of socks made of magic and sunshine and lemonade flavored lollipops. Style: To be clear, I have none. No sense of fashion didn’t prevent these shoes from allowing me to pretend I do, however. As such, they act as dad camouflage when in public and my kids can use the shoe for a football when needed too. Win all around. Soles: Slick to start so SCUFF THEM IMMEDIATELY. Concrete/stair edge/whatever, but scuff them and they will grip well after 20-30 meters of normal movement. Last thought: Find yours have a squeak or plastic/rubber sound on each footfall regardless of the surface you’re on? It’s the shoe tag and insert. SOLUTION: Cut the tag out and sound like a Wally ninja once more. My mistakes, your potential benefit. Awesome shoes. ... show more

These are easy to slip on and very comfortable. Very lightweight and breathable. They only have whole sizes not half sizes so instead of a 9.5 maybe order up to a 10.

Super comfy fashionable shoes that don’t look like old mens shoes either. It seems that all ages are wearing these shoes. The fact that they slip on and are lightweight makes them his favorite shoes. The insoles are comfortable and offer support. After reading the reviews I did size up to a size 15 for my son who generally wears a size 14 wide and they fit perfectly.
