It arrived today so I don't have a long history with this cat tree, but what I CAN tell you is it's better than I thought it would be. It's a lot more solid & sturdy than I imagined, and I'm impressed. I was really worried it was also going to be a nightmare to put together but my autistic son & I did it in about 2 hours... with 3 of my cats supervising & 1 actually doing constant quality control checks with each new level. (He approved!) The taller it got, the more excited he became. My thumb and finger is sore from getting screws started, and sometimes we had to cut the holes through the fabric for the screws to go in the holes, but if you are patient and take the time everything does line up. It can be a little challenging and frustrating but it is able to be put together correctly. Once it is, it's so worth the effort. As you can see, mu cats already love it. The fabric is REALLY soft, surprisingly strong, and the *nests* are well padded. I will put some cat beds in the kitty caves for them even though they seem very happy with it the way it is. Obviously it's not the *wood*, 2x4 built type, and I was worried it wouldn't be durable enough for my 5 cats (2 are bigger boys) but as you can see, 1 of my big boys is completely satisfied, and my smallest cat went straight to the hammock. It is big enough for 4 of my cats, and I'm sure it would even be strong enough to hold my fat boy, though it might be a tighter fit. I'm really happy. The price was great, and I think it was a great deal. I may have to buy my next one from them. I'm pretty picky, and I doubt it will last years but I think it will hold up a reasonable amount of time, and with that price I would be okay buying a new one every year or two. I will update you next year how it goes.

Arrived boxed in another box, and well packed. The assembly directions (although not all that clear), came with added directions on how to USE the actual box the product came in, to make a 'cat house' for your kitties. Very cute. We didn't bother, but it looks legit. We just gave them the boxes as is lol. The cat tree came with everything you need to assemble, plus spare hardware and a spare pom-pom. One person can build this on their own in 25 mins. The separate side 'basket' - as we call it, can support our biggest 14# boy. I'm impressed! Lots of scratching areas. Not too big or small. Seems stable. Came with stabilizing gear to affix it to a wall if you choose to do so. Pretty in the green. Good quality. Accurate product photos. All 5 of our kitties can use this, which is a huge plus. Great price at forty-five bucks for better quality than we expected. If the product price doesn't increase, I'd be happy to get another in the future.

I received this around December 16, 2022. Boy was the box heavy! The box was barely together. I guess it had a rough ride getting here. Despite the badly used box, none of the parts were damaged or dirty. If the box had been pristine through shipping, I'm sure I would have praised the packing of the parts just the same. I found the instructions and counted out the parts. I had a handful of extras, which is nice. The cat tree came with an Allen wrench. Now, I've seen the reviews that say the instructions are lacking. They are a bit, but it doesn't take much to figure out. Most of the instructions are easy to follow. I got a bit hung up on the placement of the brackets for the flat scratching post, but I think that was more user error than bad instructions. All directions are in pictorial format, so if you can read a picture, you'll be fine. It took me two hours to assemble by myself. This was partly due to having eight cats "helping" and partly due to the fact that I have severe carpal tunnel syndrome and double tendinitis. It hurts to hold anything too long. Anyone without these issues will probably get it done faster. Especially if you lock your furty "helpers" out of the room first. I have my tree in a corner so it has a lot of area to lean on if it needs, but I find the tree to be very stable. I was worried about the circle hammock because I have a very large chunky boy in the group. I worried the hammock wouldn't hold, but it doesn't seem to bend under his weight. I'm sure the seams of the fabric will go before the plastic or metal that forms the circle does. I do have a few design complaints. I wish the platforms were a little bigger (again, I've got a big boy). The sides of the beds don't tend to stay up. It could just be the way my gremlins play and lay on the tree, but it would be nice if the edges didn't roll under the beds. I do also wish the ropes covered more of the tree posts. My cats haven't figured out they can use the ropes as scratching posts yet. Overall, I'm not disappointed in my purchase. These trees will never fit my expectations 100% because I used to build my own to suit my needs. This one comes close, though. At any given time, I have between one and five cats on the thing. The tree even brought my senior cat out of the shower where she likes her quiet time! That's a win for me. Would I buy another one of this model of cat tree? Yes. Even though it hurts me to put it together. I think the end result is worth it.
