If you know anything about grow boxes you have seen them come and go. Abby is like no other..the customer service is above the rest if you compare apples to apples. This company is new with the latest technology in box growing. I have 2 abbys..between the online community and support you will learn to grow. Support was only delayed during the holidays but they clearly listed a contact in case of emergency. If you follow directions and listen to staff..you will have no problem. At times online community gives info out thinking they know more than the creator's. Modifying things and wondering why they have problems. This makes growing not so ghetto. Very nice looking piece of equipment. I'd join the online community and talk to the people growing successful. They listened..it's really that simple if you can follow directions. Join the online community..talk to people..make a decision based on more research than possible reviews of competitors!! ... show more

    • BUYER BEWARE-Amazon is Complicit
Problems started on delivery. Product arrived damaged and did not come with all of the features detailed In the description. After contacting Abby’s customer service as instructed in the paperwork that came with the product , a Replacement part was shipped. We were credited $161 and an additional 6 months to the warranty. Since then, the box has continued to malfunction. We have tried to work with them and their technicians for nearly 9 months. Customer service has become impossible to communicate with. Now they keep asking for the email associated with the account and then they pretend that they can’t find record of our purchase. Out of frustration we reached out to Amazon. Amazon told us they would look into it and contact the merchant. When Amazon finally got back to us, they told our 30 day return window with Amazon was closed and they would provide us with a phone number to contact Abby directly. After being put on hold for a long time, our customer service rep informed me that she was unable to locate a phone number to give me. My call was then transferred to an Amazon supervisor who told me there is nothing they can do because we did not reach out to Amazon for a refund Within 30 days of delivery. So now we have a piece of high maintenance junk that we’ve paid $1200 for. Amazon turned their back on us and told us to call the merchant but they cannot provide us with a phone number to do so. So now we are left with emailing the Abby company again , like we have been for months….so we can get the run around and they can pretend they have no record of our purchase. The most upsetting part about this experience is that we trusted Amazon to help us resolve this situation and they will NOT. We tried to work with Abby for far longer than should be expected. We are unhappy with the product, the customer service, everything associated with this transaction. And we are stuck with a product that has required maintenance since delivery…. Even though it is still under the initial 1 year warranty and the additional 6 month warranty. My question is, why is this product still available for purchase when numerous Amazon customers have had the same problems with the product and the company??? We are totally disappointed with Amazon customer service. What I’ve learned from this horrible experience is that you can’t depend on Amazon to intervene if their merchants are taking advantage of you…and even worse, they will continue to allow these problematic merchants to take advantage of their customers. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. Seriously, you have to get this .. If you want to grow basic herbs, food etc.. this will be the product for you .. as a stay at home mother of 4, I don’t have time to be outside as much . I This is a good product, It came on time with no issues .. it’s pricy, but worth it ... show more

There are accessories you need like additional light,camera,additional fan with no place to plug anything in you have 1 spot for 1 additional device so more spaces to plug things in is a must

    • Don’t buy this unless you want to replace all of the shortcomings.
Awful customer service. The unit fails and needs updates. Some of which render the unit inoperable killing anything living inside. The subscription is worthless. It’s a great concept. Needs upgrades and if you do them yourself and use it on pro mode without customer service you’ll be in good shape.

The packaging looked fine but when removed revealed a dent..I bought this 2nd one before noticing all the connectivity issues, app issues, light leaks ..etc. for 1k each you would expect better..Are there any guarantees for equipment? I bought 2 Less than a year ago and the one dial screen is partially busted, for some reason about 1/5 of the screen is now screwed up... still haven't heard back from anyone ... show more

    • Great box terrible 1on1 subscription model RIP OFF!
The Abby box is great. Great design, nice look, works effectively. 1on1 is a joke and the subscription model is 3 month interval. Good luck getting in your grow with nutrients supplied and their half baked support team. Discord for Abby is a chaotic disaster. If you are competent enough grower get the box if you really like it's look and durability. If you dont like 1on1 and subscription model BS steer clear. Too late for me, but hope I might save a few of you from locking yourself into a company that so far hasn't delivered on their promises. ... show more
