We already have all hex-clad cookware so I wanted to add these trivets to the mix. They do the job, BUT I’m giving 4 stars because I do wish they were double the thickness.     • Hot Pads that actually work.
I received a set of Hexclad Pots and Pans as a Gift. Cooking was fun again. The only issue I had was my potholders could not handle them. Along comes Hexclad with a New Item. These Silicone Trivets not only solved my problem, but they are sturdy, washable (by Hand, I don't recommend the dishwasher as they will fly around). I am not sure how they did it, but you can take a pan, any pan, right from the stove or the oven and place them on these, they do not hold the heat and dissipate it a really good rate, while the pan stays warm. They are Black, and in a Hexagon form, so nothing to hang on the wall, but I am not buying them for decoration. I Cook 5 to 7 meals in one night for my work week so I go thru pots and pans heavily on the night that I cook, these will allow me to pull the pan off the stove set it down and let the meat rest or the sauce rest, while I am starting another one. No worries about burning the countertop or melting my old holders. HEXCLAD HAS A WINING PRODUCT LINE, AND THIS JUST ADDS TO IT GREATLY. ... show more
