Timer works great, but like other reviewers said, the batteries are very short-lived. I already ordered more off of Amazon, but fortunately they are very inexpensive batteries

This set of 10 Mini Moroccan-Style Lanterns is very well-made and a great size for parties and decorating. Their golden color with a patina-like finish really gives them a beautiful appearance. The small cutouts on the lanterns are nicely done without any sharp edges. I think that the "glass" is most likely a thick clear plastic. That's probably better for using for parties or decorating imo. The candle "flame" is a nice yellowish orange, and the remote has flickering or steady light. One awesome feature is that even if you use the remote to turn them on together, they flicker differently. This gives them a more realistic flickering. Also on the remote, there are 6-7 levels of brightness. I tried to show the difference between the brightest and the lowest levels in two of my photos (take in mind it was still daylight outside when I took the photos). They're a decent weight for their size, especially at the bottoms. I don't think they'd tip over easily. An excellent set of versatile Mini Lanterns with all kinds of decorating possibilities. They'll be great to use at Halloween too. I highly recommend. One thing I might add, is that the on/off switch on the bottoms should be turned to the off position when these aren't in use. Most of my LED candles seem to have a longer battery life when I do this.

These are super cute and a great price....one star off because one seemed to barely work out of the box.

Hewory Mini Lanterns with Remote Control: Set of 10 Gold Decorative Lanterns I love these little lanterns. The lights have a very warm gold/orange glow. There is a “candle” setting that makes the light gently flicker, as well as a “light” setting if you want the light to remain steady. The dimming feature only works on the “light” setting, not the “candle” setting. There are six brightness levels, ranging from brightest to dimmest. The remote operates all of the lanterns at once, but there is also a physical on/off switch on the bottom of each lantern. The remote will not override a lantern that has been switched off manually. I think they are really cute and look good in person. They are a good value for the price.

These mini lanterns worked perfectly for our centerpiece decorations and added such a beautiful touch to the tables. The gold finish looks elegant and works well for weddings, holiday parties, and other special events. They gave everything a warm, decorative glow without being overly bright. One of my favorite features was the remote control. Since we had everything set up the night before, being able to turn the lanterns on easily without going around to each individual one was such a nice convenience and saved a lot of time. The lanterns are lightweight, easy to arrange, and looked fantastic once everything was put together. Overall, these were a great addition to our décor and made the centerpieces look polished and special.

These little lanterns are absolutely adorable. I have placed them all around my library and it sets the mood I very much like for my library to have. The only problem is the remote interacts with other light/remote items that I have and has reprogramed one of my display lights to a setting I cannot get it back to what it was before. So I caution when using the remote to not have it near any other simple remote based devices/lights.
