The leather is rather though, bag is more rectangle, and as I was deciding between the sorrel and coffee brown, for some reason I pictured in my head shinier softer leather and more espresso color. Also I think metal in good gold color would be more complimenting it. Going back to pictures, description was correct, just my mind played me. I don’t like large handbags. They tend to become a catch all and everything sinks to the bottom which is frustrating. I thought this bag would be a solution but…. It is very heavy even when there is nothing in it. It is very thick and rigid which makes less room to organize things because it is a struggle to fit them in and adjust them neatly. There are several useful compartments and some have zippers. The bag also has a central zipper to close the bag so nothing falls out. That’s very usefull. The handles allows you to carry it on your arm and it comes with a long strap you ca attach to use it as a cross body bag. Also very useful but it would have been better if there were more holes to adjust the length of the long strap to accommodate shorter people. It is of good quality and is very stylish. I bought the black but the other colors it comes in were beautiful. It is leather and gives off a “leather” scent but is very faint and what you would expect from an expensive bag. This was a splurge for me and am hoping it will soften as I use it. It has a lot of useful features. ... show more

Really nice purse. I’m picky about purses, I don’t like them too big and I can’t do too small. This was borderline big, however I kept it. I like the color and all the room. Really, that is why I'm not giving 5 stars. This is a very nice looking purse but it's very heavy, even with little to nothing in it. I believe that means it'll be very study and long lasting but it just wasn't what I was specifically looking for. I'm used to carrying smaller bags but wanted something a little larger that was soft and still light weight. It's really hard to shop for handbags online in my opinion, I think you really need to touch them, try carrying them, etc. With that said, this is very well made, the inside lining is beautiful and straps are very sturdy. If you're looking for a very large bag that will last a long time, this is probably for you. If it was lighter and felt nicer, easier to carry, I think I would like it more. Absolutely stunning! Paid 3x for designer bags that weren’t even leather. The silver hardware is gorgeous and the leather is soft. Lots of compartments. Not meant for laptop abuse but to just enjoy the quality and great color! Haven’t been able to find a dark brown bag till this👍
