I was not incentivized in any way to write this. I have mild/moderate redness on my cheeks and nose. I'm not particularly good at make up. I applied this after my moisturizer. It works well. Evens out my skin tone. It does look slightly flaky but literally anything I put on my face with color looks a bit flaky because I have dry skin. If anything this flaked a lot less than all other products I've tried. Did not turn me orange like other reviews said, and I do have very pale/fair skin. It also slightly helped with dark circles under my eyes but I'm still getting an other cream to add to cover the dark circles better. I just apply it with my fingers and it goes on smooth and blends well. I probably need to use setting spray with it because if I touch it when it's not dry yet it does some off super easily. All in all I really like it though. My boyfriend didn't know I used a new product but randomly was starting at me saying how cute I am lol.

This stuff is great. I use it after primer on my areas of redness (around the nose, chin, middle of forehead) and it miraculously turns those areas from red to a warm beige. I'll go in with my normal face products afterwards and it gives a beautiful even finish. No more blotchiness!

So I really wanted to try this for two reasons: 1) like the girl in the ad that I saw, I’m fair skinned, red headed, freckled, and have some pinkness to my skin that I’d rather not be there. I figured it’s probably suitable for my coloring. So I thought I’d give this a shot to at least. 2) I get hormone pimples a few times a year, and this is supposed to help them heal and avoid the red spot that lingers for months afterwards apparently. So first this I noticed putting it on is that it comes out green (duh), but once you start rubbing it in it turns dark yellow! I don’t know what that’s about, I’m not a chemist, but I pushed through. Initially I thought, “Noooooooo!” I avoid yellow! It looks silly and fake on me! But once I finished patting it all in, I realized it wasn’t actually making my skin very yellow at all. I didn’t post a before picture, but my face in naturally darker/slightly more yellow than my neck and chest.. Don’t know why, but it is! And I’m this lighting it’s very obvious But the fact that it did make it slightly more yellow is the reason I took 1 star off my rating. It really did tone down the pinkness (this is my skin when it’s normal, NOT super red). The other thing I did like a lot is that after two days of wearing it the few dying pimples are looking WAY more dead. Like, healthy and just going away. Before they were sticking around and drying out and trying to come back it seemed like. They just look happier now :) I like this as an everyday light foundation! I wasn’t even expecting that, but I like it!

Product goes on green and turns to a medium beige that has excellent red blocking coverage but is not a match if you have fair skin (it makes me look orange and is too dark). I tried mixing with moisturizer, but that resulted in virtually no coverage. On clean skin, the texture quickly becomes caked and heavy looking and shows/settles in even the finest lines (especially if your skin has texture from acne, rosacea, or aging). It is only slightly better over primer. I need full face coverage due to rosacea, and was hoping this would tame enough of the red on makeup-free days. Unfortunately, the texture and color issues make it a no-go. Since I will still need a full face of full coverage foundation on the days I do wear makeup, this product is not for me, BUT if you need extra (small area) spot correction for extreme redness under your regular makeup, it could work.

This is perfect for everyday wear, I don’t wear very much makeup very often, this is more me. I use this under setting powder and it evens out the redness. The first picture is after washing my face, before using any products, the second picture shows what it looks like with rescue balm and Kosas cloud powder after 10 hours.

I don’t usually leave reviews, but this product is exactly what I was hoping it would be and more. I have been looking for something like this for a while, and had previously tried Cicapair, which is also a green color correcting pigment. But it felt so greasy on my skin, and it still looked like I was wearing makeup. Rescue Balm is a light blurring product, that blends in and looks like SKIN, while not being greasy and noticeable. I have been wearing it for hours and there’s so weird separation or greasiness. This is a holy grail for anyone with redness in their skin or acne marks they want to cover while healing. 10/10

Work works great so happy with my product And purchased this was definitely worth it. I have dry skin around my nose and when applying it, it went on smoothly blended to my skin and was very satisfied with the way it looked.
