The good news: Received this chair (got red+black color) today and it came fully assembled - yay! All I had to do was pull it out of the box and unlatch the lever to unfold it, then slide on the pillow over the outer rim (it has an elastic wrap), and lay the side tray table on top of the outer rail. Voila - done! The shade of red is bright and vibrant, the extra padding in the center is nice but not needed for mine since I tied a full-length, thick cushion on top of it. My initial impression is that it's comfortable, it feels sturdy, and it works properly, including the side locking mechanisms to keep you in a reclined position. Overall, I'm pleased with it for the price point. Drawbacks: The armrests sit a bit lower than my other zero gravity chair that's the exact same size, so that was a bit of a drawback for me since my arms aren't very long. It's a bit more difficult to get in and out of than my other zero gravity chair - seems like it has something to do with the angle of the chair when it's upright. I absolutely love this chair. It's the most comfortable lounger chair I've ever experienced. Yes, it doesn't have lumbar support, but that's what pillows are for! My husband and I both find it extremely comfortable, our legs are fully supported and we're 5'2" and 5'4" respectively. The instructions are lacking. You need to turn both levers forward once the legs of the chair are fully open. You'll know when it's locked because it will only adjust on top, not try to fold on you. The cupholder is a problem. It works, but it has a little table part next to it and that is not flat, so anything you place on it will slowly slide off. The actual cupholder portion works just fine, and it stayed in place perfectly for me as I adjusted the chair to various positions. It me it's not an issue that the chair does not lock closed, because it stays folded when I lean it up against something. Overall comfort is winning out over this chair's flaws, which are minor in my opinion.

The first time I attempted to unfold the recliner I found it awkward to open. After using it several times, it is very easy to open. I have never owned a folding chair or recliner that was totally comfortable for hours of use and this one is no exception. I believe the purpose of most folding furniture is convenience not long term comfort. The HERA'S PALACE Padded Zero Gravity Lawn Chair/Recliner is well built with fully upholstered seat and back with adjustable upholstered pillow for headrest and lumbar support. The padded upholstery is laced into steel support along the chair frame. It also includes a cup and plate for holding drinks or food. Okay, that may be just my opinion, but I have a friend who had to have back surgery recently and her doctor recommended she get a zero gravity chair for recovery. I understand that - this chair is so easy to lean back in and the way it is made, you cannot help but be comfortable! Heck, you can easily sleep in it if you want! Not that I would make it my permanent bed, but if you happen to be a bit tired and lean back in it, expect to wake up a few minutes/hours later wondering how that happened! This zero gravity chair is nicely padded and really, just so comfortable - I'm a larger lady and it is also wider so that I fit in it without feeling "squeezed" so to speak. I mentioned indoors or out, too. I know this is meant to be an outdoor chair, but it would not be a bad living room recliner if you need one for your back issues or if your legs swell in the heat (as mine do if I'm standing too long). For the price, this is an excellent zero gravity chair.
