I ordered 2 of these bounce balls. One in pink and one in purple. I got 2 pinks ones. They are for my 2.5 and 3.5 yr old granddaughters. The older one has no problem using it and loves it. The younger one is a little short yet but does sit and bounce on it.

PROS: • thick, sturdy rubber • texture areas so ball doesn't slide and for better grip • small, compact size, perfect for young child • cute polka dot design (deeper teal-blue than in the product picture) CONS: • covered in greasy, sticky residue out of the box This seems like a sturdy, well-thought out toy — I like that there are textured areas on the ball to make it safer to use (on the bottom, so ball doesn't slide, and around the handle for better grip). My 3-year-old hasn't quite figured out the perfect bouncing technique yet, but I think it's just a matter of playing with the hopper for a bit to get the hang of it (I tried it, and as another reviewer stated, it is usable even for an adult, despite the small hopper size). I took a picture next to a tissue box for general size reference. One weird thing was that the ball was covered in greasy, sticky residue when I took it out of the box. It washed off with some dish soap, but I was glad I opened the box before gifting it to my 3-year-old. ... show more

I ordered 2 pink and 2 purple balls but got all pink. The ball’s themselves seemed sturdy and were easy to inflate, but seem much smaller than expected. My 4 and 6 year old nieces were a bit too tall for them.
