These stainless steel wire ties are close to being hose clamps, and are very tidy as well. The tool allows you to pull the tie very tight and then cut off the spare. They are almost as tight as worm drive hose clamps. I'm using them in low pressure connections such as fuel lines where usual hose clamps are simply ugly. They are vastly superior to plastic ties.

These tie seem to work well but 11.8 inche ties will only work on 2 inch diameter pipe. The tag line is not long enough for the binding teeth on tool to grab tie. So although the tie will wrap around a 2 &7/8" pipe you can not sinch the tie down.

Put a chicken run up quick and single handed with tie wraps. Came back and supplemented those plastic ties with these. While the plastic has rotted away and extremely high winds have battered the structure these things keep holding.

First impression was “Dang!!!!” I wasn’t expecting much but was very surprised that tool actually seems to be qaulity. It worked great and has some weight to it, as in not cheaply made.

I use this on my farm. Goats are horrible when it comes to fencing, they rub it like crazy. So, I bought cattle panels and use the metal zip ties to secure it to the posts. It works amazingly well. The only thing I disliked was the sharp edge it left. So, my solution was to use my needle nose pliers to tuck the edge under and squish it together…problem solved so no sharp edge to cut myself or my animals. I’m now expanding my runs so I bought another so my partner and I can both be cinching the panel down on both ends and it cut the time to fence in half. As I cinch the middle my partner goes and gets the next panel ready. Perfect solution to the damaged fence problems. They’re a god send.

Got these to wrap my grades with and was tired if doing it the old way. The others is ok. The feed is small, and the tensioning device is sloppy. That said it pulled tight, and cut well but true two hands. Once pulled tight it went to pot.... They can be overtighten,or loosen after releasing the pliers.. It makes a uniform look. I would like better results
