I loved this guitar as soon as I saw the picture. I'm not a rock star, but I love a guitar that makes me look like one! This is actually my second Pyle guitar. My experience with the first definitely drove my decision to buy this one. It's nice and sleek and a little bad a$$. Right out of the box, even if you didn't know a lot about guitars, the instructions are well-written to explain what you can expect tuning a guitar that has never been played, including how to stretch the strings and play with the board to get it set up correctly. The little tuner that comes with the guitar was definitely more intuitive than some of the cheapy ones I have seen, and it was very easy to use. Love the mini-amp. Strumming my guitar in my room alone is what I'm doing 95% of the time I'm playing, and having the mini-amp is perfect for that. It gives me a clear idea of the sound I would get out of an amp without all of the hassle and set-up of a bigger rig. I love that it is portable and has a decent number of settings for such a small device. The guitar is comfortable and has a great sound. It's clear, with no distortion (unless that's what you want) and is easy to play. I would highly recommend this guitar for someone who is just getting into guitar playing, or who has an intermediate level and likes to look cool while playing. Amazing guitar. Perfect kit for beginners, amp has really good sound for the wattage. Everything is already together so it is basically plug and play. The E string is a little annoying to tune if you need it to be lower but other than that it’s great.

Great guitar, I've been able to tune it for my use cases, works great, no issues yet, came with extra strings and picks, the amp does start to have that overdrive noise starting from very low gain if you do use OD. Came with a whammy bar, I love the look and finish feels great. If feels dense and durable but I wouldn't test the durability of the neck. I got it in black and it looks beautiful. It also comes with a tuner but for me it never picks up the thicker e string. ... show more

I was skeptical about the possibility of this being a high quality guitar for my son to begin with, because the price tag seemed too low. But I was wrong. The moment my son opened up the guitar - he plugged it in and started playing. The guitar sounds fantastic to me. He had only learned a couple of basic songs, but has literally played it every single day for the past two weeks, and just started learning some Metallica songs. So it looks good but the strings it had on broke and we're rusted. I put the new ones on and the bridge sting action screws just slipped in and out of the adjuster threads just cheap and not worth it

Look I’m gonna be honest and not hold back in this. The guitar itself is ok for the price, the guitar is a little smaller than depicted in the description of the guitar kit itself. The amp was in pieces when it got here and honestly it sounds kind of terrible. I ran the guitar to my other amp, IBANEZ 8” Electric amp, and the guitar sounded much better. Parents if you read this, do not buy this unless you know how to tune a guitar or the kid your getting it for does, the guitar does not come pre tuned you have to tune it yourself. The amp that came with the kit was making rattling noises when it got here; when I opened it up the transformer on the inside of the speaker wasn’t mounted, the holes you put the screws through to mount it were all bent, but the screws were already screwed in as if someone had been frustrated and jammed them through the board. the guitar strings are not very good quality, the guitar itself is plastic, and the guitar may sound great (with a better amp) but it had knicks and scratches in quite a few spots when it got here. the box that they shipped it in was worn, the wire connecting to the amp is very poor quality and the bag is way to flimsy. All in all the accessories weren’t worth it, but the guitar itself was decent, hence the two star review for the whole package. ... show more
