This is a great budget guitar for beginners! If you have a kid who's interested but never played before, this kit is perfect as it comes with everything needed to get started. There is a tuner included as well to make it easy to tune up. It plays well and is a nice color (black). For what it is (budget guitar), this is a good one. Great for newbies or kids playing guitar in their bedroom!

I loved this guitar as soon as I saw the picture. I'm not a rock star, but I love a guitar that makes me look like one! This is actually my second Pyle guitar. My experience with the first definitely drove my decision to buy this one. It's nice and sleek and a little bad a$$. Right out of the box, even if you didn't know a lot about guitars, the instructions are well-written to explain what you can expect tuning a guitar that has never been played, including how to stretch the strings and play with the board to get it set up correctly. The little tuner that comes with the guitar was definitely more intuitive than some of the cheapy ones I have seen, and it was very easy to use. Love the mini-amp. Strumming my guitar in my room alone is what I'm doing 95% of the time I'm playing, and having the mini-amp is perfect for that. It gives me a clear idea of the sound I would get out of an amp without all of the hassle and set-up of a bigger rig. I love that it is portable and has a decent number of settings for such a small device. The guitar is comfortable and has a great sound. It's clear, with no distortion (unless that's what you want) and is easy to play. I would highly recommend this guitar for someone who is just getting into guitar playing, or who has an intermediate level and likes to look cool while playing. Hope you have as much fun as I have.

Great guitar, I've been able to tune it for my use cases, works great, no issues yet, came with extra strings and picks, the amp does start to have that overdrive noise starting from very low gain if you do use OD. Came with a whammy bar, I love the look and finish feels great. If feels dense and durable but I wouldn't test the durability of the neck. I got it in black and it looks beautiful. It also comes with a tuner but for me it never picks up the thicker e string.

My youngest decided he wanted something more than his acoustic and wanted something to "jam with". Sooooo, this is a great combo to start with. Its a full sized unit and has good sound. The weight feels good in the hands and visually it hits high. The amp is just loud enough to get it done but not annoy the neighbors. It comes with everything you need (cabling, strap and such) and is plug-n-play out of the box! This is our first Pyle instrument and so far I'm quite impressed for the price. I'll be buying more of their product down the road, I'm very satisfied with what I see. Now I just need to teach him a few classics!

When the guitar arrived string 1 was broken. When I restrung the guitar and tuned it string #4 was ringing because it was vibrating against the pickup because the action was too low. Upon attempting to adjust the string height using the saddles the #4 saddle's top screw simply fell out. When I attempted to screw the saddle screw back into the saddle it would not screw in. Turns out it was stripped nearly smooth on the inside OUT OF THE BOX. How that is possible is beyond me. I bought this guitar because my doctor said it might help with my physical therapy.

The nut was not filed out all the way so the E string would not stay in place. The body was also cracked where the fretboard attached. Overall it could be a good guitar if you get one unscathed by luck of the draw. I just couldn't afford to chance it on a replacement this close to Christmas.
