I finally got around to installing this hitch, wasn’t terrible but not as easy as I had anticipated. The exhaust heat shield needs to be loosened and moved out of the way to get the bolts in, the bolts needed to be cut, otherwise the muffler would need to come off. The bolts needed holes are approximately 1/8” to narrow to line up with factory holes. Once installed everything seems sturdy and functions as intended. ... show more

Horrible purchase. First the bolt holes will not align with a John Deere z315e. Plus the bolts are too long. Had to go buy nuts and bolts to even attach it to my mower and it still wouldn’t stay on because of the alignment. Ended up just paying for the official John Deere part.
