    • Cheap construction and lids and drawers do not align well enough

This small little tool box is ok, but the construction is very cheap and flimsy. The drawers do not slide smoothly enough for this price point, and require a bit of force to operate, and they are jerky. I do like that drawer liners were included though. My biggest peave with this is that, especially as expensive as this is, there are not separate locks or stops for the lid and the drawers, instead using a single stop bat that keeps the drawers locked closed if the lid is closed. Having to open the lid whenever you just want to open a drawer is VERY annoying, particularly since the drawers already soft-lock into place and require quite a bit of force to open that they will not come open just by tilting or moving the box. I might be able to recommend this tool box at half the price, but $60 is way too much with these inconveniences. ... show more

I was stunned at how nice this is! It's is a huge step up from what you find at the big box stores or HF. it is heavier gauge than most of the little boxes this size, uses actual drawer slides like a full size box and they even lock closed when the lid is shut. It has a nice matte powder coat and decent latches. I also like that is a little shallower than some, so perfect for a work/craft table where it won't take up too much space.im actually going to buy a 2nd one, since this was so nice. ... show more

What a cute little toolbox; little being the operative word. This tool chest looks and functions(mostly) like a full size tool box. I went back and read the description, it is 15x11x6 as is listed. This is about 60% of the size of the other tool chest(Craftsman 20x12x9) that I have. Mine doesn't have drawers, which is why I got this one because I wanted tot have the drawers. I do have a small problem with the "latch" The tool box is designed so as the drawers wont open unless the lid is open. This is a little finicky to close. The lid must be opened all the way and the drawers pushed ALL the way in then to close the lid. Then the drawers will stay closed. I am going to keep this tool box; I am not sure exactly what I will use it for. My original purpose was to replace my tool box, but this one is just too small to adequately hold my tools. I wish that I had been more attuned to the listed sizes as I probably would not have ordered it. ... show more
