I was searching for reasonably priced 100% cotton sheets that were just the right color and would stay cool at night, Well, I didn't want to spend a fortune on the 100% cotton sheets, so that left finding sheets that would stay cool and were the right color. After reading reviews, I settled on these sheets in Wheat. The wheat color looks more like a very light chocolate milk color, and it was just what I was looking for. Taking them out of the package, I immediately felt that they were, indeed, soft, but a little thinner than I would like. They washed up fine, and the pockets are deep for thick mattresses. I'm always looking for the softest sheets and these deliver. I did wash them in cool water, so far no shrinking or color fade. They did wrinkle some, but that's because they sat in the dryer for a bit. No problem with the fit, in fact they went on over the mattress, an extra foam topper and a thick mattress pad. Love the sheets, they're soft not too thin. But for this Hot azz weather, heck no. Plus I'm in Texas, oh jeez! The color was great, paired it with a black duvet, but unfortunately for me, I thought it was on the darker side. Hubby & I were like, dang these sheets are way too hot. They are microfiber and very soft, and they seem to get softer and softer after each wash. I have a king size bed and the fitted sheet does fit a little loosely. These sheets are soft, wash well, decently priced and stay on the bed, however I felt hotter under them than my Sam's Club brand. Maybe it's me and I just run hotter at night, but my husband has mentioned waking up sweating under them the last couple nights. These are soft without the cringy feel of microfiber (I'm not a fan.) They wash up beautifully and don't look like a wrinkled mess. They stay in place perfectly without sliding up on the corners.
