I received this product free through Amazon’s vine program. In exchange for the product, I’m expected to give my honest and unbiased opinion. This is a John boat cover for a 14 to 16 foot John boat. It is marketed as heavy duty, but I knocked off one star because I don’t believe this would qualify as heavy duty in my mind. It is a storage cover. I don’t believe it would hold up to going down the highway. It appears to be water resistant and a good value for the money. I leave my John boat setting outside and I like to keep the rain out of it as I have a wood floor in it. In the fall with all the leaves falling. I like to keep it covered and keep the leaves out of it. This should do an excellent job and I believe it should last a couple years. It has elastic all the way around the edge and it’s easy to put on with one person. It also has tiedown straps, which would hold it down and in place if it gets windy or if a person did try to trailer it.

I picked up this heavy-duty jon boat cover to protect my 16-foot boat and it’s been doing a solid job so far. The material feels durable and thick enough to handle sun, rain, and general outdoor exposure without feeling flimsy.
