This is well packaged and arrived in good condition. Assembly is straightforward but takes about an hour. I have the walnut looking shelves. The shelves are mdf with vinyl finish. There’s a bit of bubbling of the vinyl on the beveled edges. I suppose it wouldn’t be too hard to replace the shelves with real wood. Just have to make sure and drill the holes in the same spots on all four pieces. I’ve got a Yamaha integrated amp that weighs 22.5 kg on the bottom shelf. ... show more

Very nice product. Couple of things, 1. It did not come with instructions. Obviously you can figure it out, just take your time. 2.i I Really don't care for the shelves...yes, they work, but I think in the future I will replace them with a finished wood as was mentioned by someone earlier
