CONS: Connected Pieces. PROS: Strong. Easy to use. Additional Thoughts: I use no dig fence panels in various spots around my fence to keep groundhogs out. I needed more and decided to try these. These are very strong and easy to push into my ground. These tines are a little thicker than other models I have used but are a little further apart, so they will allow small critters like voles to get through, but they do seem like they will stop the groundhogs, which is my goal. The only thing I don't like is that two pieces are connected as one, so you only get 5 pieces to use. Not a huge deal but if you have a small spot to put this, then you either have to double up and waste one section, or use a different brand. LovingTheRetiredLife

These come with five hinged sections. They fold out into a wider section. They only hold together with zipties. They do include those. The bottoms are just straight metal pieces that you hammer down into the ground. That takes up a lot of the height of the fence. So they are short. The wires are far apart and will not keep out small animals like rabbits. And the sections are too short to keep out dogs or deer. I put these up against another fence and applied plastic mesh to form a barrier against rabbits in my garden. They are easy to push down in the ground and easy to ziptie together. They look nice too. They are black powder coated. Just doesn't cover a large area and not much protection for dogs and deer.

This fence was easy to install. I put it next to a sidewalk where each morning squirrels routinely sent multiple pieces of bark and assorted leaves and twigs from our garden onto the walkway. The bars are 2” apart, which is small enough to prevent squirrels from getting inside. Each morning, they sent the debris of their digging onto the sidewalk. The five fence sections add up to a total length of 10’, which covers the section where a barrier was needed to keep the sidewalk clear. I used a rubber mallet to put the 16” long bars of the fence into the ground, leaving a fence barrier of 12” above the ground. It had rained recently and the ground was soft enough to accept the bars without too much difficulty, as recommended in the instructions. I connected the sections together with small cable ties. The fence barrier is sturdy and unobtrusive. It is called “A Collapsible Animal Barrier Fence” because each 2’ section consists of two 1’ sections that are joined with a hinge, not because it is likely to collapse. In fact, with the bars in 6” of soil, the fence is quite solid. I feel confident that the squirrels will not want to wiggle through or around the fence and they will find some other place to dig, hopefully in an area that is not alongside our front walkway.

These worked great to run along my deck to keep out rabbits and, by extension, my Jack Russell. It finally warmed up enough to tap these into the ground, and they went in easily with a rubber mallet. I gave them five stars because they are upfront about attaching the panels together with zip ties (included) but I feel like there has to be a better solution. Honestly, it doesn't look bad and isn't really even noticable if you're not looking for it, but I think something metal would hold up better in the long run.

I particularly like the design of this fence and am happy to say it does what it is supposed to, which is to block any gaps between the ground and your fence that your puppers could slip through. They are light weight and easy to install and they feel sturdy and reliable. The price at the time I ordered these was more than fair and personally I feel they are a good value for the money.

I bought these to place around an outdoor shed to try to prevent rabbits from burrowing underneath which thereafter induces the dog to try to dig underneath. The fence segments are well made and the hinges are sturdy. They are 16 inches high and each of the 2 folding halves are 1 foot wide. Bear in mind that you will need to hammer them into the ground 3 or 4 inches, so you will not get the full 16-inch height. For my particular use case it is likely that I won't need to string a bunch of them together. The method supplied to attach them together one to the next is wire (zip) ties, which are supplied. I would think that there would be some mechanical method built in to attach the end of one to the beginning of the next, but now, the supplied method is wire ties. I think I probably would try to find some other version of this type of barrier that has some other better connection method to attach one to the next. They are well made, but they ar missing an actual mechanical connection to attach one section to another that doesn't involve wire ties.

We have a new little pup that had been trying to dig under fence to go say hi to the dog next door. I saw this item and opted tongive it a whirl. IT WORKED! I'd have given this little fence high marks for simply doing as it stated... stopped or pup from digging, but because it is also a stout & solid constructed product that looked good, it's hard for me to consider going under under 5 stars. However... It came with zip ties to keep it all together. There are far better alternatives but for as sturdy as it feels, I'm not 100% sure the zip ties were necessary in the first place.
