  • The installation was quick
The installation was quick, maybe 30 minutes. I like the grease fitting and topped it off when installed. I cranked it off my hitch while sitting in the stool I used during installation. I used to get the 1500 lb. jacks, this is my 1st 2000 lb.

  • feels very well made and heavy duty for less than 100$
I put mine on a dual jetski trailer without too much trouble. The jack was much heavier than the existing jack I had. i can't say if it will last forever after it gets wet a few times, but I can say that at the current price, it seems exceedingly well made.

  • Cheap Grease fitting
Installed it as soon as i got it and was very impressed with the performance of this trailer jack and it was very easy to move my 6'12 trailer. Not even an hour out the box I attached my grease gun to it and the grease fitting broke. I went from being impressed to very disappointed 😞

  • Works well on sandy soil
My wife and I spend a lot of time towing our utility trailer to the home stores to get lumber, plants, or large amounts of mulch. Many of the times we pick up supplies we aren't actually using them that day and need to roll the trailer through the fence on the side of the house to store it. If the trailer is full, it is often too heavy to unhitch without a jack. After many times of laboring in the heat to unload the trailer our of necessity, I wanted a trailer jack and picked up this one. This jack is very heavy and was very easy to assemble. The main part of the jack comes assembled, but the wheels have to be bolted on. Since my trailer is on the smaller side, I put the bracket bolts as low as possible. Once everything was tight, it easily supported the front of the trailer. The wheels are wide enough that they roll across the sandy soil that makes up our yard easily. The crank is easy to operate and it has a grease zerk as well. It is an extremely solid jack. Once hitched, the jack is easy to fold up and lock in place. Overall, this is a very nice jack that would work well on trailers much larger than mine. ... show more

  • I would actually give this 3.5 due to problems
With basic operations of its actual use.. Ease to lift and lower it, how the crank worked, quality of the basic metal, etc.. I would give all of these 5 stars.. The wheel swiveled easily, much better than the HF one that was taken off that was highly disliked.. Here are the few things that they could do to make this a 5 star item.. First would be the mounting bolts.. They are only grade 3, zinc coated bolts.. If you are in the desert, or only use your trailer in nice weather, and in a garage the rest of the time, then this will not be a problem.. But around here, it is salt central in the winter.. Grade 3 bolts on road constantly covered in salt.. I will give these only a couple of years before they are covered in rust.. They should have used galvanized, grade 5 or 8, stainless steel, etc instead of the cheapest bolts that they could find.. I would get other bolts instead of using the included bolts. The bolt on the wheel on the other hand, is grade 8.8, or grade 5 equivalent bolts.. So if they could give you that quality of a bolt for the wheel, why not give the same for mounting it too?? Second problem.. If you look at the handle, you can see that the handle hit the pull pin used to flip up the wheels.. This could have been easily fixed from the factory in one of many ways.. One reason why it hits.. There is so much play where it latches on, that the handle is loose, and sits at an angle because of all the play.. If they removed the 1/16" or 1/8" of play where it attaches, then that would fix this problem. Another easy fix.. Where the bend in the bar is that lifts the hand crank farther out.. Instead of making it 1 1/2" or 2" out, make it 3", and that would give the extra clearance so you do not hit the pin release when raising or lowering the wheels. Overall, make it so the handle does not hit, and give some bolts that will not rust out in places that use a lot of salt, and I would give this 5 stars... ... show more
