Great gloves batteries have lasted about a week and a half just using them for riding my bike or walking to work every day. I've also used them for shoveling and they kept my fingers nice and warm. We recently had a severe cold spell with negative degrees, and to my suprise, these gloves really kept my hands warm the entire time i was working working. The fit (medium) is a big large for me, but the gloves still felt very comfortable.

Seemed bulky and a bit thin - but the good distribution of the heating elements and capacity makes this surprisingly effective. Other than that somewhat generous size of the logo, the design and performance of this pair is very good. At the price point, though, one could evaluate other options that may provide enough capacity for your intended activity. If an extra pair of batteries were included, this price would be a great value. Dont expect toasty heat - it will be enough not to start cursing during snow removal... decent for hikes/outdoor activities. I did not get these gloves for skiing but I DID get them to save my hands while walking my dogs on cold, cold mornings. I have had to forego walking some mornings (which turns my beasts into energy crazed scoundrels) because I can't keep my hands warm enough. I won't have that problem any more. These Wasoto heated gloves have solved my cold hand woes! Before I wax poetic about how warm they are, I would first like to mention that they have detachable batteries. I looked at some other brands that did not have this. How do I wash them? What happens when the battery eventually won't charge? No problem with that here. Now let me tell you how warm they are. I was delighted to find my hands actually sweating on my mid 20 degree walk the other morning. Normally my hands are achy and I can't feel my fingers by the time we get home (I have tried all the glove and mitten layers you can name), but I actually had to turn the heat DOWN a notch on these gloves. They get plenty warm but there is no danger of burn. They are just super toasty. These gloves are very well made. The stitching is *chef's kiss*. The interior is super soft and cozy and would be quite warm and luxurious on its own. Now add in some heating elements. I can imagine they would work well for a skier because they have many different ways to cinch them up around clothing (or just around themselves). I did try them out with a touchscreen and they DO work, though they are a bit bulky for trying to navigate a phone. Good enough to be able to open it to answer a call. These are very good looking too. Everything about these gloves screams "luxury" and let me tell you, *I* certainly feel spoiled to get to have something like this! ... show more

These gloves are great even without the battery operated heating. They are sized well and fit like a brand name item. I measured medium, ordered a medium, and it fit like a glove… fit, finish, and materials are well above average. What I like most is the attention to detail. First, each glove has an internal wrist strap, that’s well made, that keeps your gloves attached to you should they fall off your hands. Second, there is a super small clasp that is used to connect the gloves to each other during storage. I’ve got 3 old left gloves in my closet because I needed this feature alone… third, the battery charger comes with two power cords so you can charge each battery at the same time. That’s a great idea! Fourth, each glove has an adjustable wrist and arm bad for full comfort and optimal fit. Fifth, the power and temperature adjustment button can be operated with the glove on and each shows heat level and battery voltage. These are some really excellent features! The gloves themselves are sturdy and are made from soft materials. Stitching is clean and well done. Once you charge the battery, it gets placed into a small zippered compartment on the inside wrist of each glove. I find them to be out of the way and well located. The batteries are a good size and appear to be well made. They don’t seem fully waterproof, so like don’t go swimming with them on (duh). I wore them on low for several hours in temperatures just below freezing and they worked perfectly with plenty of battery to spare. The battery rating seem like it will be accurate but further use and testing is required here. Lastly, there is some extra weight to each glove due to the battery weight, but it’s not bad and you will quickly forget the weight and only remember your warm fingers.
