Used this to repair my glasses that the arm broke into 2 pieces. I used superglue and the straight parts of a paper clip to repair it along with using the shrink tubing kit. See the photos below. The metal paper clip was used to cut out 2 metal braces that I glued to the arm of the glasses. One on each side to provide some strength then I slid the shrink tubing on both arms to tighten and hold the pieces together on both sides of the broken arm. The result was very good and seems solid using the shrink tubing kit. Its color selection and various tubing diameters made this repair easy and it seems durable. Great value and good selection of sizes for the shrink tubing. The heat gun also was very good with fast heating and cooling. It was very effective on their tubing.

We had been struggling with I Phone charging cords wearing out way too quickly. Our earlier attempts at repairing them was haphazard with predictable poor results. This set comes with enough protectors in numerous sizes to last us a long time. The heat gun is just the right size and very easy to use plus it’s much safer than using a flame to shrink the protectors. Great tool at a good price.
