I bought the Large size and measured them before washing. Since sizing is inconsistent across brands, I posted pictures of the measurements. Unstretched waist 28", inseam 31". If they shrink considerably after washing, I will update this review. It's just my opinion, but I think they run a little small compared to what I usually buy. They are made nicely- no hanging strings or loose seams. No funky smells out of the package. The fabric is soft and I like that the inseam is 31" (I hate short pajama pants). The fabric feels the same as others I've had for years, so hopefully it will wear as well. UPDATE 12-4-20: No shrinkage, no pilling. Great pajama pants! ... show more

I ordered a medium based on other reviews saying they run a little bit large. The medium fits perfectly. They are not too tight in the waist or the legs. I'm 5'4 and the length is perfect on me. There is a drawstring tie at the waist that I didn't bother to tie as you can see from the photo. The pattern is super cute and not thick and annoying like some iron on decal designs (I'm not sure that is the exact terminology). My new favorite pajama bottoms. I was really worried about buying these with 4 reviews and no pictures but they are actually awesome. I am a size 16 jeans and normally wear an xlarge pj bottom but I decided to size up for safety. The material is really soft, light weight and very cozy. I love the deep pockets. The elastic waist is not too tight and comes with a draw string. Heres the story about sizing. I normally wear a large, but bought a xxl, because of comments on shrinkage. Glad I did, after washing and drying they fit perfect. I’m 5’6, 135, lbs., usually a medium or large. Went with a large and they’re perfect. A tiny bit loose around the waist, which is good in case they do shrink in the wash. But the tie is adjustable and I prefer them not tight. They are super comfortable especially with the high waist. Not too long or too short, just right! (I was having an endo flare up so in the photos I'm bloated) I wanted shorts that I could lounge in, sleep in, and even workout in (at home). I wanted them loose especially around the waist because, as mentioned above, I have endometriosis so it's really painful to wear tight waist bands like jeans. These are so perfect! I tried them on and took the photos as soon as they came (why they look wrinkly). I am a medium but went a size up (large) so they are perfectly loose. BEWARE! RUNS SMALL. I bought these shorts to wear while at home. The fabric is soft and decently thin, good for the summer time and IT HAS POCKETS. I read the reviews on here and knew that the sizes run small. My waist is 27 inches and usually get size 4 in jeans. I ordered a size M and it fits comfortably. The only issue is that the waist band is pretty strong so it tends to rise when sitting or moving around. I would say if you have a waist greater than 27inches to get a size L.
