It looks dense enough in the photo, but lying on the floor you see through to the rubber backing. Also need to stand at sink for some time daily and this is not comfortable. A cheap memory foam mat from the local dpt store is better. The rubber back does stay in place, so 3 stars for that. The navy color is fine, the teal is neon if you can believe it.
