3 issues with these aids: 1- they don’t hold a charge for more than 6 hours 2-they are huge and everyone can see you have SOMETHING in your ear 3-they deducted $20 from my refund Be careful before you buy these.

When you think of a hearing aid, you picture a small, in-ear device that is tailored to the user, specially designed to enhance certain frequencies that the user is no longer able to hear as well. These are basically a bluetooth earbud with a microphone. Mid-range frequencies are enhanced, while lower and higher frequencies are attenuated. If you think of a car equalizer with the middle knobs at max, and both sides turned all the way down. Conversations don't seem to be any clearer, but the squeaking of floorboards as you go up and down stairs become almost painfully loud. There is an agc (automatic gain control) that lowers the volume if it's too loud. I find it kicks on with the sound of birds chirping when outside. There is a light background hiss at all times when in a quiet room. They also fall out of your ear even after trying different ear pieces. They are big and heavy. Setting up the bluetooth is easy, and works pretty good with phone calls, but the filtering doesn't help music playing. It is easy to charge - just drop into the included charger and plug into a usb jack. I get more than 8 hours of use out of a 2-3 hour charge. The ad states they don't squeal, but putting your thumb in front of the microphone when putting them in or out makes them squeal like a pig. Overall, if you need something, seek professional devices. I have been wearing these hearing aids for a week now and I have tried them turned up and turned down and I still have issues with hearing the tv. In regular conversations I can hear fine without the hearing aids, but the tv makes me feel like people are mumbling. Im not sure if these hearing aids are the solution, but they do work and I can hear every sound in the house very loudly. ... show more

1. This is a very basic hearing amplifier. 2. The sound is just amplified. There are no settings for different environments. 3. Even on the lowest volume setting it was too loud for my ears. 4. They are easy to use with one button operation for volume and power. 5. Bluetooth lets you take a call or listen to music but the volume can only be adjusted on your device. 6. The small charging case is convenient to carry but the earbuds are sort of hard to remove from the charging case because they are so slick. 7. What a unique piece of technology that can be used by everyone. The Digging Sound digital hearing aids, are Bluetooth, rechargeable, wireless, sound amplifiers. They can be used to listen to music, or internet content. To conduct a private conversation on your phone. Amplify the sounds around you. Improve your ability to hear everything going on around you. Without having to remove them from your ears. When the earphones are in your ears, they connect automatically. There is a voice that says right, or left ear. Instantly they begin the amplification of sound. You can increase or decrease the amp by pressing the button on the front of each earphone once. There are 4 levels of sound amplification. If you touch your phone, the amplifier goes silent and the Bluetooth phone is now the primary sound source. You can accept calls, reject calls, or listen to music, or internet content. If you close all content, the hearing amplifier takes over. I found the amplification can be slight or aggressive, depending upon the intensity setting. With the amplification maxed out, you can hear voices and sounds behind you very clearly. An ability that our ears cannot detect. The sounds in front, and around your are significantly increased without the base sounds we hear. The earphones at maximum sound have a very tin can effect. These headphones are so small, you can easily keep them in your pocket or purse. These earphones can improve the sounds around you in meetings, waiting rooms, class rooms, halls, concerts, etc. They provide wonderful sound from your phone too. They are rechargeable using USB-C cable. The charge time is minimal, 1 to 2 hours. The working time is 17 to19 hours. There are several different size earplugs provided with these earphones.
