I initially thought it wouldn't fit my 14 x 6.5 snare, but despite it's slim looks, the snare fits. I needed a more upscale looking case for my amazing Tama Walnut SLP, and this was conveniently also a Tama product. I can't give 5 stars yet because I've only had it for a week. The price is definitely 5 stars! Otherwise, if you need a hard case get one, but I wanted a soft case. This looks great and does what I need it to. This is the best snare drum case I've ever used. I bought one and was so impressed I bought a dozen more. Hard to get in stock, they sell out everywhere. Unless your checking your drum into checked baggage at an airport, I can't imagine a better case. Incredibly durable for a 'soft' case. Well made. I used this and it did not disappoint. My snare drum fit into it perfectly. Avoid this if you do not like pink. I thought it would be more of a dark red color. Uh, it is not.
