Update -June 30th: After seeing my negative review, the company commented on my review with a standard copy/pasted message apologizing for their defective product and offering to replace it for me if I emailed them my order number and assuring me the product is under a one year warranty. Well, I emailed them the information and, to date, have not received as reply or replacement. So, now I get to rate their customer service and warranty, both of which are garbage. I would eliminate that 1 star rating if I could because the company chose to waste my time with their cliche fake "We're sorry for..." message and fake promise of a replacement. Don't trust this company. While it worked it was fine. However, this stopped working 6 weeks after I purchased it. I I now only get partial audio on both of the wires that connect to the headphones. I have to wiggle the cables to get it to work and hold it in place to make sure it continues to work, which is impractical. I know it's not expensive, but I bought a different splitter that lasted two and half years, then another one that lasted another two years. This splitter was more expensive that the other two I purchased and I take good care of my stuff, so, I'm not happy. I can understand this not working after at least a year of use, but six weeks means very poor quality/durability. I highly recommend you buy something else if you want something that you won't have to replace very often. ... show more

This is the sort of small product that doesn't have much to review, but I'll give it a go anyway. First thing I noticed was the packaging was professional and clearly labeled with good branding. Something that lacks from many <$10 items found on Amazon. Next, I noticed the color of the product was more of a gray than the white pictured. It was described as silver, and I didn't really care too much about color, so close enough. Then onto the main test: functionality. I needed this splitter to wire up a speaker setup on my porch. The previous owners of the house left wall-mounted speakers with no oomph, so I wanted to incorporate a Klipsch sub I had laying around. So this splitter went from an Echo Input, and split to both a small stereo amp, and to the sub input. All devises connected were able to communicate without being lopsided or hearing distortion, so the splitter passed the test. The knitted sheathing over the wires is overkill at these lengths, but that's a small detail I appreciate and enjoy knowing its there even if no one else ever sees it. With some airlines relying on your own in-flight entertainment, I bought this splitter to use on my iPad (8th gen) so my wife and I could watch movies together. I was surprised to hear no sound level degradation when attaching the splitter to the headphone jack and then our noise cancelling headphones. I have gone thru a few different headphone splitters in my day, but THIS one seems different. It FEELS different. I mean, it is different because my older ones broke and I had to buy a new one, and I got this one. So far it is working great. I like that it doesn't have as many potential points of failure as other ones I have had. I also like how strong the headphone connection is. The phone jack snaps in tight and stays put. No crackling or loss in audio strength. Great all around. Would make a fine wedding gift. Or a stocking stuffer for the audiophile in your life. Or buy dozens and throw them out to people at parades. Used this to share audio from my Amazon Fire Tablet 10 and it works great. I've had other splitters that degraded the audio and muted it, but not this one! The sound is loud and clear. Note that it is for audio output only and does not support microphone input.
